POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

This past weekend marked 2 years of me playing @talesfromgloomhollow I took a selfie of myself in every character I play this past weekend (and included a selfie from another game to get all of my characters). This game has been a big part of my life since I moved to California, not only is it fun, but it’s community is very much my people and I’m grateful I have such good friends out here. I wanted to just post about it since I’ve hit my two year mark (and the game itself is about to hit its four year mark.
Photos in order are:
Maverick Rook, my main player character, an AI detective and priest of Tezcatlipolca and Citalicue, also the local critic of the towns antics through his “notes”.
Liberty Washington/Cosmo Stormcloud, my alternate player character, a traumatized elf from the planet Ad Fect, who loves America and struggles with being a space elf.
Vidame Tarquin, an NPC I play who’s a high ranking member of a noble group of monster hunters.
Xochipilli, an NPC, a lesser god of the underworld.
Todd Deacon, an NPC merchant who sells the cursed items that keep appearing in his house.
B15H0P, an NPC who looks similar to Mav, and works for one of the evil Corporations from the planet Gaia. taken in ROCK & TREE by @darrerdian

Liberty Washington (a character I sometimes play in the game Tales from Gloom Hollow @talesfromgloomhollow ) wants to make sure you remember to vote this year! Freedom has a constant cost and the minimum payment is voting. Since coming out to California I’ve joined a few Larp games with my roommate Cameron (who took these) and this has led me to a lot of fun moments and some great friends. This past weekend we joined a game called “Tales from Gloom Hollow” a modern fantasy with some sci-fi elements in it. This is my Character Maverick Rook, AI PI. I’m very proud of how his look came out and just felt like sharing since I haven’t been posting to social media much lately. by @darrerdian

My heart took a bit of a rollercoaster this week. I got to see my sister get married my amazing brother in law. Unfortunately, I learned this morning that it was Tyson’s time. He wasn’t the smartest dog, but he loved his family. Mom says he stuck through for the wedding, I think he held out for mom because he could tell she was stressed, because him figuring out what was going on was never in his abilities. He was a tough cookie, survived major stomach issues and eating too many things he shouldn’t have (one of which caused more stomach issues). You’ll be missed budddy, I hope there’s plenty of boxes for you to eat at the dog park in the sky. by @darrerdian

After several thousand miles, packing and unpacking a good chunk of my belongings, and a week to get things together, this car and I are both residents of California. (Swipe to see some pictures from the roadtrip and my first picture of the Pacific from mainland USA. ) Its the beginning of a new chapter of my life. taken in Los Angeles, California. by @darrerdian
