SOUND WARNING Had a once in a lifetime experience today. Two steam locomotives in one spot. Union Pacific 4104 “big boy” and Reading 2102. As a railroad historian my mind is blown, if you are a close friend or relative you will be hearing about this for years to come lol. Tomorrow I will be chasing both of them throughout the area . by @darrinmartone

Italy, Greece and Turkey vacation photos shot on 120 color and black and white. Camera malfunction before I even took a photo on the first day, but made it work. Italy and specifically Sicily was my favorite spot, will return because of the great experience I had . Lots of great people, food and culture had a lovely time. by @darrinmartone

First year of grad school DONE. One step closer to being a functioning member of society lol. Taking this summer to do a lot of stuff. My trip to Italy is coming up fast ( Monday ) . Made a couple new friends in the grad program, and I seen almost all of my undergrad friends move on , but I’m still here for the long haul, but it’s worth it. Pictures are of moments I found important to share with others enjoy :-) taken in University of Maine by @darrinmartone

Bitter sweet to be done my stint as an undergraduate student at the University of Maine. On one hand I’m happy to be back in Maryland, on the other hand, I will miss my friends and everyone who has helped me along the way. I’m so thankful for my parents who made my education possible . Also especially thankful for my mom who designed my cap taken in Cross Insurance Center by @darrinmartone

Do you have a new camera that you got over break? Are you tired of going off campus to get your film developed? Want to get those pictures from your disposable camera but don’t want to pay 15 $ well do I have the service for you ( only applicable to people in Maine sorry ) taken in University of Maine by @darrinmartone

Currently on the train back to Maryland from Maine , ran into bad weather on the way down to Brunswick Maine for my first train , but it all worked out. This semester was very fun and also taxing , but I’m glad to be coming home. I will be missing all my friends in Maine though . taken in Back Bay station by @darrinmartone

I know I don’t post on here often but I’m going to try and be better about that. Anyway here are some of my favorite photos from my first year at the University of Maine. Most photos are taken in Maine some are also from Virginia , however all of them were taken on film . My next round will probably be my photos from Iceland taken in University of Maine by @darrinmartone
