Happy National Dance Day! Dance is a constant in my life, and I am very grateful to the incredible mentors, teachers, educators, dancers, & dance advocates who believe in me and my life’s mission.

Proud of this project that I choreographed, “Tapnology,” in 2005. I mean... the hours involved were grueling & my feet were DONE — but the outcome is pretty amazing! Original music composed @brandonjarrettmusic & produced/directed by @davidafischette TAP ON! by @darrylretter

Thrilled to announce my NEW venture “Building a Strong TAP Department” - a goal inspired in-studio faculty training program for dance studios to develop stronger tap teachers, greater consistency from level to level, & ultimately, a stronger tap department.

I’ll come directly to your studio & work with your faculty on the Al Gilbert Tap Syllabus, connecting the dots, & infusing your tap department with NEW perspectives to ignite your program and inspire your dancers.
