Intermission is an action storyboard where Madeline fights off a monster from the darkness. Thanks to her magic, she managed to defeat the monster, but it meant missing her favorite band's concert.

Hooray! I finally finished this project! :D

I've been wanting to do a hot project all summer, and here it is! It grew out of an unfinished comic idea and became an incredible practice in storyboarding and motion. I'm so glad I got to work on this project with Madelyn and showcase her magic :3

I hope you enjoyed it!
Special thanks to Valhalla Camp for the amazing community and the wonderful people who contributed to the voice acting! @echihidna and @ereniel.art thanks you guys sooo much! by @dartush.__

The second portrait is done! I'm really happy with how it turned out. I managed to nail that vibe, and there's a huge difference compared to the previous one, which is awesome :DDDD

Another portrait in the "Disco Elysium" style. This time, I decided to show the different states of Madelyn from User-2303. Right now, it's the sad phase

The final shot shows Madelyn fighting off the monster with sand magic.

The fight in the foyer hadn't been conceived yet, so I was just following the script. Now I realize that the same scene in the destroyed building would have been much more spectacular than a simple fight in the hallway.

I love how the magic turned out here; it's like ringing bells and crackling sand at the same time—it's so cool! :D

See you tomorrow with the animatic!

And here we are, tumbling into an abandoned theater, left for restoration but abandoned for years in Weaver's Quarter. And now it's ready to welcome new audiences!

This scene was really challenging for me. There were so many great options in the sketches. I chose the one that best showcased the location for the keyframe. I still really like how this shot turned out.

See you tomorrow for the final keyframe! And on Sunday, with the animatic itself.

I've finally finished the project "Intermission"! Starting today, I'm publishing all the materials related to this story, starting with the project's key frames. :D
This is a short story about how Madelyn was pulled out of her favorite singer's concert and had to fight a monster. This is the first frame where the monster is shown.

See you tomorrow with a new key frame!

Special thanks to shushyn for helping with the character's outfit! (The last picture)
