In a new short series we will be spending time with each of our photographers and sharing with you how they see the world and bring client briefs to life.

This week we are speaking to photographer Alex Ingram. Alex comes from a background in documentary photography and brings his reportage style to commercial and editorial clients. Alex’s work feels deeply rooted in a grounded realism. When the 2020 pandemic hit the world, everything stilled and stopped for so many of us who weren't first responders or on the first line. For many we looked out of our windows at the world or did a local wonder for an hour when it was permitted. Photographer Alex Ingram spent time back at his family home, picking up his camera to escape the world we found ourselves in and find peace and moments of stillness in his immediate surroundings.

And whilst as a collective global community, the pandemic and Covid 19 is something we all stop ourselves and think of what a strange, challenging time we all went through. Its often important to look back at that moment in time. These photographs show just how quiet and isolated this big vast world became in poignant and moving way. by @darwin__studio

This week we are speaking to photographer and director Joe Magowan. Joe built a portfolio and body of work through street portraiture and has led him to shoot for clients such as Sony Music, Aer Lingus, BBC, Google, Visa, Hero and AMEX. Joe brings a cinematic quality to his work, bringing us every closer to the people in the images through a connection built up in just moments or over a period of time. Joe most recently has had his debut documentary BAFTA qualified and released on VICE. by @darwin__studio
