In a world full of horrors I want to imagine one where mothers and babies sleep peacefully. This piece is dedicated to all those that feel scared in these unstable times. I hope it brings a ray of sunshine and calm into your lives, just as it did to mine. Stay safe. - Swipe for some WIPs 💜 . #art #illustration by @daryakozh

Posting all of my Hades fanarts together, just because I can😌 And kind of to announce that I am not planning on doing any more of those. It was fun though! . #art #sketches #portrait #cg #cgart #photoshop #hades #hadesgame #hadesfanart #supergiantgames #fanart #zagreus #megaera #thanatos #charon #digitalart #drawing #illustration #characterdesign by @daryakozh

The idea research was too much fun to be left unshared, so swipe! And maybe read too, if you wanna know how my thought process works during sketching 👀👇 So, the second picture here is the composition I started with. I wanted to explore the idea of a baddie with two huge dogs on a leash. One going bonkers at the camera baring teeth and "barking" and another one snuggling up to the woman, but, obviously, adapting it to the ocean theme with sharks being dogs and so on. Then came the "what if she was riding one?" thought (which i eventually went with) and so I explored that a little. How would she be sitting? What could she do with her hands? Holding reigns? Petting another shark? Holding onto the shark she is riding, a little hunched closer to the shark to emphasize the speed, with a "predatory " look in her eyes? Who knows maybe she's on a hunt? I also experimented with shark types and found that the hammerhead shark's head shape actually works AMAZINGLY as a "pointing line" towards the center of the composition - which is the queen herself. Ofcourse other sharks in the background add to the baddassery and are working as pointers themselves too. Oh, and the lighting! That's the best part, I tried to depict the creepy vibe from deep-sea photographs with creatures being lit with this strong white kind of flashlight from beneath. That's it, hope you were able to do your little analysis of my brains and maybe steal something for yourself to get better!! (that's how I get better anyways lol) Love you, bye😘😘😘 . #art #sketches #mermay by @daryakozh

Hi guys! Posting a WIP this time, I know it's been ages, but better late than never, right? This one was made for an interview stream during mermay. Had to choose a theme for my mermaid out of the host's list and I went with "tyrant" and "evil" or sum like that. Anyways. I thought she was cool, had some time to work on her lately so I pushed the sketch a little further and here we are :) It's far from finish but i really like this mid stage and hope you do too🥹 Cheers! #art #mermay #illustration by @daryakozh

The Mother. The other day I looked in the mirror while putting my youngest to sleep and saw.. the world. I saw billions of amazing women putting their babies to sleep. All of the mothers that ever existed, I saw them all. And when I look at people, I don't see just people. I see little milk stained chins and chubby cheeks, puffy little fingers clutching their mother's clothes. I see years of sacrifices. Of sleepless nights and tears and so, so much work, and love, and care put into those people by their mothers. . #motherhood by @daryakozh

Love + War + ORKEN🧡 My Entry for the #orkenreloaded contest. A few words about this piece. Love, Death + Robots may not be the most iconic series there is, but it was one of the most ipmactful for the art industry - myself included. Seeing "The Witness" directed by @albertomielgo, completely shifted my perspective. His work quickly became one of my greatest inspirations. This drawing is a tribute to his art. Swipe to see the full size, poster I used as the base,close-ups and early sketches. And ofcourse thank you to @smv_studio for the opportunity to participate, looking forward to seeing more of Orken! ❗️DTIYS❗️ Hi guys!! We are long past the 30k and what can be better to celebrate it than a good old dtiys challenge? - Meet the Master Gunner🎯 He is the smoke, he is the fire. Once a man of spanish origin, with lots of passion to give.. he loved corrida, dancing, risk and competition, but most importantly, he loved fire. And thus he spread his through these two special pistols resembling bulls. They each have their own character, always produce smoke, as if they are breathing, and are able to show reaction to their surroundings (by becoming more or less agitated depending on the situation). - He is the character you will be drawing(or sculpting). There are no deadlines, I will be reposting my favs to the stories and will probably make a post at some point. Do have fun, don't forget to tag me and use the #gunnerdtiys tag as well, so I can easily track the participants. - Couple of words about the work here: swipe to see all the closeups, lineart, early sketches and the b&w version. The colored version is a little different from the lineart and yes I've redrawn those parts while coloring, and NO it's not because I'm masochistic. It's just that in the process I realize that some parts just don't work well color and value vise, and thus it gets fixed. That's it, I guess.. anyway, hope you like him and good luck with the dtiys! Love y'all🫶 and thanks for the 30k!! . #dtiys #dtiyschallenge #characterconcept by @daryakozh

Neytiri from the first movie one love💔💔💔 also, no matter how much I try, she’s always infinitely more beautiful on screen than in my sketches..But at least I am able to capture a fraction of that beauty, and I'm happy with that too🥹 #avatar #avatarfanart #atwow #neytiri #jakesully by @daryakozh

The crew's Cook🔪🍤 Don't ask me why an undead pirate crew needs a cook, they just do, ok? Especially one like THIS🔥 As always, swipe to see skecthes, the original 2015 concept of her and also a WIP. And yes, I know this art is very raw, there's a hell of a lot more I could've done, but at this point, I'm gonna be honest, 1. I've been working on it for too damn long (because kids) 2. I doubt I would be able to bring it to the point of "perfection " in my eyes even if i had to spend a couple of months more, because..you guessed it, kids🤷‍♀️ So, I decided that this stage I left it at, brings the point across: it's epic, the concept is what I want it to be, colors and values are on point, and it's semi detailed, which is... GOOD ENOUGH. Ok, there goes my rant to nobody in particular (probably actually just trying to convince my own self), bye🫡💚 . #art #digitalart #conceptart #pirate #photoshop by @daryakozh
