🎭 NEW CLASS ALERT: Acting 101 For Improvisors! 🪑I'm so excited to be teaching this half acting scene study and half long form improv comedy class at @thesharedexperiencestudio ! Link in bio! ✨ Here are the class details:

Level up your acting skills in "Acting 101 for Improvisors". In this class, students will learn the basics of acting and how to apply them to their improv scenes. Everyone will work on a scene, memorize it with a scene partner, rehearse it outside of class, and then perform/rehearse it in front of the class. They will work through the scene in class to strengthen their commitment to their characters, environment, and the circumstances of the scene.

In the last half of class, we will switch gears to practicing improv scenes using the acting tools learned from our acting scene work. Ultimately, we’ll learn that staying committed in improv scenes creates richer and funnier scenes that the audience will find relatable and get on board with quickly. This class is perfect for the student that wants to improve their improv by throwing themselves into characters with passion and perspective. Yay acting and improv!

Price: $125
Saturdays, July 11th, 18th, and 25th

I had a blast teaching my "An Improvisor Acts" workshop at @2ndbestfest @5thwalltheatre this weekend! We worked on commitment to the characters, environment, and what was happening in the scene. When an improvisor believes they are in the scene, the audience does too. Thanks again so much for having me and @asianafshow ! 💛💚💛 taken in Richmond, Virginia by @daryljimprov

*Swipe for vids and photos + link in bio!* 🏒☺️❤️ I haven't officially announced it yet, so here is the big news: I am heading to Scotland this August to perform at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe!!! I’ll be traveling with the Quick & Funny Musicals production of Heated Rivalry: The Musical Parody. I never thought that I’d ever get to go to Edinburgh, let alone perform there as a LEAD! It's mind blowing to me. I still have to pinch myself that I get to play Shane Hollander, a character I absolutely love watching on screen and have a total blast bringing to life on stage every performance I get to. It's an absolute dream role, dream show, and to have this opportunity to perform in the largest performance arts festival in the world... is the DREAM!

While the opportunity is a dream come true, getting a full production across the pond takes a village. My ultimate goal to cover the total cost for my travel, lodging, and festival expenses comes out to $4,600. To keep things manageable, I am using a GoFundMe feature that bumps up the goal as milestones are met. Breaking it down helps me track the smaller steps to get there.

I want to trade some art for art! To thank you for helping me reach the global stage, I am offering some massive, exclusive discounts on my photography services as a "thank you" gift for your support. If you need new headshots, creative portraits, or branding photos, now is the ultimate time to grab them. Available in Los Angeles, CA and on the Big Island, HI! Check out the link in my bio for all the details.

It feels like one of those rare moments where everything I've done so far- acting classes, improv workshops, musical shows - it's paying off and has lead me to THIS. It would mean the world to me to continue sharing this beautiful, funny, and meaningful story on an international stage. Truly, anything helps.

Thank you all for being the best village a performer could ask for throughout all of these years. Scotland, here I come!
