YES YES! 🍀

We’re back with another edition of 🍀 BREW 🍀 at our new home, @idas_sg — and this will be our LAST one before we take a little breather for the rest of the year. So you know what to do. 👀

@raykong_ absolutely slayed it with his incredible selections at last year’s BREW block party, and we knew we had to bring him back for another sonic outing.

This time, he’s going proper B2B with head honcho Dean Chew @funk_bstrd. 👀👀

Label mates @dextercolt_ and @darylknows will also be taking turns behind the wheels, digging deep into their bags of cuts.

Early bird tics are LIVE now. ☀️☀️☀️

@darylknows – Day Session

For over a decade, Daryl Knows has held it down as one of Singapore’s most consistently excellent selectors.

Flaunting a specialty in fluidity, Daryl Knows bridges amorous soul cuts, electro, disco rarities and uplifting house jaunts with the smoothness of a locked-in veteran. A core member of homegrown global imprint Darker Than Wax, and having held residencies at esteemed venues like Offtrack, Rasa and Headquarters, he’s carved out a reputation as a deeply-embedded advocate of electronic music within the community.

Daryl Knows plays at the Day Session on 3 Oct.

Solid selectors on the rotation plus a true leader in the international cocktail scene on that guest shift biz here in September? How lucky we are. Quality from all angles. Get around it!

On 22 August, we step outside for the very first edition of Taman RASA, a new series where music, drinks and community come together from afternoon into night. Leading our inaugural gathering is Detroit’s Moodymann in his long-awaited Singapore debut.

Through KDJ Records and as one quarter of 3 Chairs, Kenny Dixon Jr. has spent decades redefining house music through soul, jazz, funk and groove—always guided by feeling rather than formula.

Joining Moodymann is a lineup that reflects the communities at the heart of Taman RASA. Dean Chew (@funk_bstrd), Daryl Knows (@darylknows), Bobby Obby Obby (@pingpongpanda) Ramesh (@tropikaglobal) and Suffyan (@s_____ffyan) guide the soundtrack from afternoon into evening, while Mismatch and a cast of roller disco performers bring movement and unexpected moments throughout the day.

This first edition takes place at Foochow Building, marking RASA’s first gathering beyond the venue—a new chapter built around music, drinks, and community.

Welcome to Taman RASA.

Recording from my monthly radio show on @shutter__rhythms is now live!

‘Thinking Aloud with Daryl Knows’ is my monthly jam where I dig through my crates to sort new tunes and rediscover forgotten ones. Nothing serious or curated, just good vibes.

Guest this month is @dj_kfc
Keith gave me my first ever DJ gig back in the day. Wouldn’t be where I am today without him.
