My Vote. My Choices. My Recommendations. Your Decision! ❤️I started creating my personal voter guides several elections ago at the request of friends and family who simply didn’t have the time to research every candidate, proposition, and measure. I actually enjoy doing the homework, so I’m happy to share my findings and personal recommendations! To make things EASY BREEZY, I’ve designed this guide to follow the exact order of the ballot, from beginning to end. Just follow along as you complete yours! ✅

These are MY choices, based on my research, experiences, and what I believe is best for our city, state, and country. You have every right to make YOUR own choices, and I respect that! We all come from different backgrounds, with different life experiences and perspectives. That’s the beauty of living in a democracy. And believe me, there were a few races where I had to hold my nose and make the choice I felt was best for the bigger picture! 😂 We don’t have to agree 100% on every candidate or issue. What matters is taking the time to look beyond the headlines, consider the facts, and think about the future of our communities and our country.
In my opinion, we’re living through some very concerning times. That’s why I believe exercising our right to vote is more important than ever. It’s a privilege and a freedom we should never take for granted. It’s easy to complain about what’s happening around us, but real participation begins at the ballot box. If we want a voice in our future, we need to show up and use it!

WARNING: MY EXPERIENCE WITH NEXTDOOR — PROCEED WITH CAUTION!
After repeatedly having my posts hidden or removed, I’ve had enough of Nextdoor!
My posts consisted primarily of supporting candidates of my choice, sharing official campaign materials, & reposting endorsements from police & firefighter associations to help residents make informed voting decisions. Nothing demeaning, degrading, or personally attacking opposing candidates.
Yet my posts were repeatedly removed or restricted while inflammatory accusations, personal attacks, and what I consider misinformation targeting members of our Newport Beach City Council remained visible. I’ve watched the same small, vocal group repeatedly regurgitate fear mongering & unsupported allegations, presenting opinions as established facts.
A former mayor and City Council member has referred to elected officials as a “Politburo” & volunteers serving on an advisory committee as “hostages.” Meanwhile, I’ve personally been labeled a “Republican operative,” a paid City Council employee, an incompetent PR representative, and someone supposedly manipulated & controlled by three mayors. All completely false! Apparently, sharing a different political perspective is more objectionable than making inflammatory accusations on ND. This isn’t about political parties or candidates. It’s about fairness, accountability, and the right to express differing opinions without selective moderation.
In this reel, I’m sharing examples of my own posts that Nextdoor removed or restricted. Judge for yourself.
Based on my experience, I believe Nextdoor’s moderation has been inconsistent and has fostered an unnecessarily hostile and divisive environment. I feel they are biased. I’m done wasting valuable time on a platform that, in my opinion, rewards negativity while discouraging respectful disagreement.
Perhaps Nextdoor should consider renaming itself Gossip Girl. At least that would better reflect my experience!

Repost from Mailer We can’t trust Newport Beach City Council candidate Walter Stahr. He tried to deceive you by paying to get his name on a “COPS” voter guide, even though our Newport Beach Police Association and Firefighter Association have rejected him and endorsed his opponent, Councilmember Erik Weigand. Now Stahr has sent out a mailing to Republicans saying he is a Republican, with photos of local GOP politicians who have not even endorsed him. Reject this kind of dishonest campaign. You cannot trust Stahr and should reject him.

A wealthy Los Angeles developer of high-density housing has spent more than $1 million on paid signature gatherers in Newport Beach. He is funding the Measure H campaign and sending misleading mailers. Don’t be fooled. Measure H would undermine the city’s housing plan and local control. Just read it for yourself on the City of Newport Beach website. Let’s keep LA out of Newport. Vote no on H!

NEWPORT BEACH MAYOR LAUREN KLEIMAN EVENING STORM UPDATES ….

I have been speaking with many residents who are incredibly grateful for our city crews’ massive and efficient storm response. I echo this sentiment, so l am organizing an appreciation lunch for our staff and contractors who are working tirelessly. Please reach out to me if you or your business would like to participate.

Our berms held back flooding along our beaches today. We will reinforce them, and strengthen areas with sand from the Santa Ana River, as needed.

Looking ahead, the October 26th King Tide is expected to be even higher than recent tides, so we are already making plans and preparations to mitigate potential impacts.

I have been on the phone with our County, State and Congressional representatives, throughout the weekend, to ensure we have all the resources we need to protect our residents and community through this El Niño weather pattern.

This Tuesday, at 4:00PM at City Hall, the public is invited to join us for a City Council study session about ongoing efforts along our shoreline.

Sweet September…
September has become an unpredictable & emotional month for us. Life has taught us that nothing is guaranteed and circumstances beyond our control can change everything in an instant. We’ve experienced great loss and unimaginable sadness, but through it all, we continue to choose faith, love, gratitude and, whenever possible, happiness. This September gave us so much to be grateful for. We celebrated Steve’s incredible 80th birthday & my 68th in beautiful Paris—a city filled with precious memories for our family. Returning to the same hotel where we once stayed with Colt & Remi and walking those familiar streets filled our hearts with both joy and peace. Our dear friends Roberta & Keith traveled to Paris to celebrate with us, and we were surrounded by so much kindness. The Prince de Galles made our birthdays extraordinarily special, & our unforgettable experiences w/Louis Vuitton—including a private visit to the historic home of Louis Vuitton—created memories we will always cherish. Romain, Judith & so many others went above and beyond to make our time in Paris so special. 🙏 Among all the celebrations came one of our most meaningful moments. At Notre Dame, we honored what would have been Colt’s 34th birthday. We lit four candles—for Colt, Glen, Mick Jagger, and someone very special in our lives whom we love and wish nothing but happiness, peace and a beautiful life. It was a quiet, deeply emotional moment that brought us so much comfort.
September reminded us that joy & sorrow can live side by side. We can miss those we love w/every part of our hearts while still being grateful for the life & love surrounding us.
We came home with full hearts—grateful for this beautiful trip, the memories, those who continue to show us love, and most of all, grateful for each other. Life is unpredictable. Love deeply. Have faith. Choose joy whenever you can. Never take the beautiful moments for granted. Happy Heavenly Birthday to our dear Colt. Today would have been your 34th birthday. It has been seven years since you were so tragically taken from us, and not a day goes by that we don’t think about you, miss you and pray that you are surrounded by love and peace. As any parent who has experienced the loss of a child knows, the heartbreak is overwhelming and truly indescribable. It is a pain that never really leaves you. Somehow, you find the strength to keep living, while always carrying that tremendous loss in your heart. Today, we also pray for all the parents and families who live with this same heartbreak every single day. This past year has been especially difficult, as we have grieved the loss of other family members as well, making today even more emotional. Today, we lit a candle for you in a very special church—one we visited with you on several occasions when you were a young boy. It brought back so many memories and made this Heavenly Birthday especially meaningful. It was an emotional moment, but we felt incredibly blessed to be there and to light that candle in your memory.
We love you and miss you more than words could ever express, Colt. You are forever in our hearts, forever a part of our lives, and forever loved.

What an extraordinary fundraising event hosted by Steve Craig and his Patriot Group! A heartfelt thank you to Lauryn Killian and the entire team who worked so hard to create such a successful, informative and FUN evening. It was truly an honor to welcome Senator John Kennedy, joined by Hugh Hewitt for a conversation that was insightful, candid and absolutely entertaining! Their wonderful stories, humor and thoughtful discussion made for an unforgettable evening while reminding us how important it is to stay informed, engaged and involved. We were especially inspired by the many wonderful young people involved with Senator Kennedy’s team.
