This was a wonderful and unexpected invitation. If you know Belize, you know the impact and enduring relevance of Assad Shoman- in print and in person. To have been invited to contribute to his latest edition of 13 Chapters is a blessing I never even thought to want. I am truly grateful🙏🏼 Check out the book and let’s continue in the attempt to make our present just and our future bright. by @darynkalimones

Last month, I had the privilege of joining the OAS Electoral Observation Mission as an international observer in the general elections of Antigua and Barbuda. I am sincerely grateful for the opportunity to have played a small role in supporting the integrity of an electoral process in our region. I am happy to share here a few snapshots of the experience ☺️ by @darynkalimones

I remember around this time last year I was convinced 2025 would be ‘my year.’ As it turned out, it was not. In fact, it was probably one of the most challenging I’ve had. At the same time, I learned to make peace with dreams deferred, with bubbles bursting, with pivots and change in general. Happily, it also ended with a lovely reunion in Mexico City with people I love ❤️Here are a few snapshots of NYE in Mexico City with my chiquitos. by @darynkalimones
