Please join us in welcoming Dascalu Muay Thai to the Infinite Heart Muay Thai Series for the very first time!

Making the trip from Victoria, BC, this up-and-coming academy has been steadily building a reputation as one of the exciting new gyms in British Columbia.

After showcasing athletes at The Smoke Show, they're ready to take the next step and make their official debut under the bright lights of Infinite Heart Muay Thai Series 6.

Led by owner and Head Coach Alex Dascalu, this team is helping grow authentic Muay Thai in BC by developing athletes, creating opportunities, and raising the standard every time they step into the ring.

We're proud to welcome Dascalu Muay Thai to the Infinite Heart family and can't wait to see what they bring to the Campbell River Sportsplex on Saturday, September 19th.

Founded in 1986, the International Sport Kickboxing Association is one of the most recognized sanctioning bodies in combat sports, known for structured competition, and real opportunities for fighters to grow.

Jamie Goes 1 - 0 in His Amateur MMA Debut

From the weigh ins, to the morning shake out, to the pre fight warm up, he kept saying he felt good and I believed him. Calm. Focused. Ready.
Jamie showed what it truly means to be a mixed martial artist. @jamiec.g

His Jiu Jitsu was his strongest defensive weapon, stuffing takedowns and makin⁵g his opponent pay in the clinch. His wrestling controlled the pace. His boxing created the openings. And when it was time to turn up the pressure, he used his knees like a sword. The knees were clearly hurting his opponent and forced him to pull guard a one point.

The bout was stopped due to a cut caused by Jamie’s glove, and the doctor called it. Smart, composed work that led to the finish.
He blended effective Jiu Jitsu, wrestling, boxing, and Muay Thai with discipline and confidence to earn the victory.

So proud to have this man represent West Coast Jiu Jitsu and Dascalu Muay Thai in his first amateur MMA appearance. @westcoast.jiujitsu

Huge thanks to Coach John and Cholena for helping sharpen Jamie’s wrestling and Jiu Jitsu. Coach Dustin, thank you for cornering, sparring, running fight simulations, and truly being there for Jamie every step of the way.
