I truly have the best circle… thank you @christine_oftherose for the compliment 🪄 by @dasha.pirela

Officially one month of Residencia Bohhaus @thecottages_

It’s been a month since I opened the doors to this trailer and as scary as it was, this month as been amazing getting to know so many of you, meeting your families, getting the best local tips (and some pretty great life advice), seeing familiar faces come back, and seeing where my vintage finds are going next.

I want to thank everyone that has stopped by and visit, shopped, sat for a conversation and an aperitivo, you have made this first month incredibly special.

Carlsbad thank you for making Bohhaus feel right at home. by @dasha.pirela

Part 2 of my “Free Resources for Creatives” series.

Internet Archive is one I come back to again and again. An incredible resource for finding old films, books, magazines, images, audio and all kinds of archival gems.

Save this one for your next research rabbit hole.

I realized I’ve shared my love for objects… but almost never the person behind them.

Hi, I’m Dasha the owner and curator of Bohhaus.

Everything you see here has been sourced, styled, photographed, packed, and shared by me.

I choose objects for their function, character, and unconventional beauty.

Bohhaus sits at the intersection of Bauhaus design and boho spirit.

Welcome to my little corner of the world.

We’re finally LIVE!

This project has been one of the most fulfilling things I’ve ever created. Working with incredible founders, creators, and brands throughout my Role as Content Director has given me the foundation to build something of my own.
I’m forever grateful for the trust, opportunities, lessons, and inspiration my clients have given me over the years. Their passion for what they do inspired me to take a leap and create Bohhaus.

I can’t wait to share all the new drops, discoveries, and unnecessary necessities coming very soon.

With love,
Dasha by @dasha.pirela

Barcelona was once part of my life timeline, but life moved differently. Still, BCN holds a very special place in my heart.

On my last visit, I made it a point to explore places I had never been before, and Casa Vicens was at the top of my list.

Designed by Antoni Gaudí and recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site, Casa Vicens is a world of pattern, texture, color, and unexpected detail.

Places like this remind me that training the eye comes from everywhere, the art of noticing contrasts, shapes, materials, and the small details we often overlook.

A true source of inspiration. Make sure to add this to your Barcelona experience. by @dasha.pirela

Behind the shots 📸
Bohhaus is a one woman show with many allies (including you that are watching) without you all this would not exist.
Grateful for all of you 🙏🏼 by @dasha.pirela

This is why the art of hunting is so magical. These hand-woven hangers, from the early 1900s, made by someone’s great-grandmother are one of those magical pieces I’ve come across.
Once I saw them I knew they weren’t for sale.
At Estate sales you can hear stories about objects like these and those are as valuable as a good buy. These are pure inspiration and
clearly these had to live and have a special spot on the feed.
