This bike lane could be made safer if they moved it to the left edge along the park, instead of right next to parked cars.

I wish I could have polite one on one conversations with everyone who has ever been stuck behind me in a car.

I want each of them to understand: I don’t want to be in your way either. I want a bike lane so you can drive at your speed, I can ride at mine.

This guy was annoyed at me. I don’t think I convinced him in 10 seconds to be annoyed at the lack of safe bike infrastructure instead, but who knows. by @dashcambike

I don’t want anyone to be ticketed. I just want bike lanes that aren’t filled with cars each stopping for “just a minute”.

If I can help a driver not get a ticket, and the bike lane is cleared? Everyone wins.

(Note: this video includes footage of the Port Authority police; no Pittsburgh Police Officer was parked in the bike lane, and in general, PBP are trained to park legally unless there’s an emergency — unlike the Port Authority officers.) by @dashcambike
