What does healing while building look like for you? 👀✨

Sometimes, it looks like setting boundaries and sticking to them. Sometimes, it means taking a deep breath, choosing peace, rebuilding your relationship with money, or learning that not everything deserves a response. And yes, sometimes, we’re still working on that side-eye! 😂

The truth is, you don’t have to have everything figured out to keep moving forward. You can be healing from what broke you while building something beautiful for your future.

Give yourself grace, celebrate the small wins, and remember that growth is still growth, even when it’s messy.
You’re allowed to become a better version of yourself while building the life you deserve. 💛

Last year, between March and July , I experienced one of the scariest moments of my life: a breast cancer scare. ❤️‍🩹

Having faced a cancer diagnosis years ago, this experience brought back some very real fears. Thankfully, my breast cancer scare did not result in another diagnosis, but it reminded me just how quickly life can change.

Please schedule your mammograms. Do your self-checks. Pay attention to your body. Early detection matters.

But there’s another conversation we need to have: protecting your finances if the unexpected happens.

If I had received a breast cancer diagnosis last year, it could have turned my world upside down. Beyond the emotional and physical toll, I would have had to consider medical expenses, household bills, missed income, and caring for my family.

That’s why, as a licensed professional fiduciary, I want more people to understand the importance of life insurance coverage with living benefits.

Depending on the policy and qualifying conditions, living benefits may allow you to access a portion of your death benefit while you’re still living if you experience a qualifying illness. That money may help with bills and other financial needs during a difficult season.

And don’t assume your employer’s coverage is all you need. Explore what individual coverage outside of work may be available to you, too.

We can’t always control what happens to our health, but we can take steps to prepare financially for the unexpected.

Becoming the best version of myself…

If I’m being honest, I’ve always struggled with focus, discipline, and consistency.

But through my recent fitness transformation and journey, I’ve realized that all three are becoming easier for me to embody.

The discipline I’ve developed with my physical body has started showing up in other areas of my life, too. In my work. In my leadership. In the way I show up. In the promises I make to myself and actually keep.

And I’m grateful for it.

I’m going to shout this from the mountaintops: being in a career pivot centered around leadership development, purpose, and impact has transformed my life.

Faith. Family. Finance. Fitness. Fun.

These five principles have become my fulfillment formula, and I’m realizing more and more how deeply connected they all are.

So you can watch from the stands, or you can come along for the ride. Either way, I’m grateful you’re here.
