This is still one of my favorite images I’ve take at Dashing. I took this the first month or so I was open 5-years ago. I’m currently wearing my own - heavily enjoyed - Edward Green Piccadilly loafer in mink suede. On the R1 rubber sole, I wear it year round here in Chicago and it’s truly one of my all time favorite pieces of footwear. Yes, insta didn’t post this Thursday, so on a nice partly sunny Friday, let’s talk about the Edward Green Ullswater. I have this shoe up for pre-order on the website, and it’s one of my all-time favorite Edward Green models. I actually made it because I wanted a cooler version of the CJ Pembroke- but in an Atom Blucher silhouette. I’d love to get 3-4 of those on order before November. Dashing x Alden The Charon - black suede, Leydon last, Madison penny loafer. Gents, why are so many of you scared of black suede or black shoes in general. It’s funny, gents from Asia, Europe & the UK all wear black footwear. The Americana / #menswear guys always seem freaked out by black footwear. ‘Can I wear it with a navy suit?’ FUCK YEA!!! Apparently my internet wasn’t connected when I tried posting this yesterday, as it never uploaded fully! So - a day late and a dollar short - here’s the Dashing x Alden Special Makeups - the Charon & the Foster loafers! The Charon is a Madison Penny, black suede on Leydon last; the Foster is tan suede on Copley last. I’ve worn the Foster way more than I anticipated and will probably take my size of Charon home to wear this fall/winter.
