Today is Day 1 of #marchmeethemaker and it’s Storytime.

When I was a kid, I absolutely loved arts and crafts, and it was something that my mom and I bonded over. She was a crafting superstar, and she even set up whole crafting stations at my birthday parties! One of my fondest memories is of us making snowmen out of foam and painting tea light holders. It was the best birthday ever, and I’m forever grateful to my mom for making it so special.
.
Nowadays, I’m lucky enough to be able to use my passion for crafting to create things and share them with the world. It’s amazing to see people get excited about my latest creations and follow along on my journey. I feel blessed every day to be doing what I love and sharing it with others.
.
If you’re still with me, thank you for reading this far! Check out some pictures, including one of me on my first day of school (looking very German, if I do say so myself), a new cutout file that reflects how I’m feeling these days, and a wood canvas that reminds us all that we can do anything we set our minds to.

How fitting to finally post this mural that I got to do earlier this year for a very sweet client, with very specific wishes. And honestly who am I to deny rainbows and unicorns (and glitter?). Thinking of rainbows, my last pride event of the year is with @pbopridenc THIS Sunday from 11-5pm at @theplantnc in Pittsboro! There will be rainbows, I’m sure there will be unicorns and for sure will there be glitter.
These events are my absolute favorite and supporting these small town celebrations is so so important. Let’s celebrate together : See y’all Sunday!

Y‘all. What have I done to myself? 😂😂😂 if you’ve ever questioned how much I like to meet all of you in person this is your answer! We have 5(!!!!!!!!) days of vending this month and I CAN NOT wait to see all of you!
Find me @beerdedladync in Garner and celebrate their 11th birthday by tie dying one of their amazing T-shirts together.
Then we‘ll be having a crazy weekend in Greensboro with the @ncfolkfestival … I don’t even know. @theroots are headlining Saturday!!!!!! Come and check it out (and say hi and bring me snacks)
September 26th we’ll be with the amazing folks @frontpaigemedia and all you bookworms!!! It’ll be so much fun! But remember we‘ll be at a new location!
Last but certainly not least we‘ll close out September the only way we know how and that’s to celebrate Pride with @pridedurhamnc and a lineup of amazing vendors. Remember how important it is to keep fighting and continuing to show up for this community!
I can’t wait to see you all and chat and laugh and have a great time! 💜 Jule

I “finished” my latest mural project! Fun to see how things change from an initial sketch to final product, but love how it turned out. A little less depressing bathroom now! Check out the men’s bathroom at your Cary Trader Joe’s if you like to see it in person! Let me know what you think! (I see a few details I forgot that I’ll still have to do )

I really don’t know why it almost took me two weeks to upload these but I think I had to process it all. @outraleighpridenc is my absolute favorite event of the year. This was our 4th year and yet again was it one for the books. I love the vibe, I love the vendors, I love the organizers (shout out to @hxchiang 😘), I love the people and customers I get to meet.
Thank you all so much for reminding me why I do this.
We got hit with a stupid windy super gust this year, and while it was scary I’m lucky to have my @andymontime with me to keep me calm and remind me that it’s all going to be ok no matter the outcome. Plus I had at least 6 random strangers help keep my tent safe and it was so humbling.
Thank you to each and every one of you! 🌈❤️
I’m off to vacation now!
Peek the rainbow at the end of the slides (there was a full rainbow on our way home. It was glorious!)
Honorable mentions are my vendor neighbors this year @baked.by.bowerman and @bustlingbobbin ! It was an honor and so much fun to be right by you!
