🏀 Throwback to the GIS U19 Invitational Basketball Tournament.

Last weekend, DASSA schools took to the court for the U19 Invitational Basketball Tournament, organised and delivered by the team at Greenfield International School.

A fantastic opportunity for students to get more time on court, teams to come together and schools to build momentum for the season 👏

Congratulations to everyone who took part, and a huge thank you to Greenfield International School for hosting and bringing our school sport community together for a brilliant weekend of sport.

Good luck to all our DASSA schools for the rest of the season 🏀

A proud moment for the NAS Dubai Lions, with Ms Gladden and Ms Pombo inspiring PE colleagues from across Dubai as they led a Gymnastics CPD workshop at the DASSA Development Day.

A fantastic achievement and great to see our team sharing their expertise with the wider PE community! 🦁👏🤸

Leading school sport forward❤️💚

A throwback to last Friday, close to 100 Heads of PE & Directors of Sport from across the UAE came together @dubaicollege for the second annual PADSIS UAE Conference, in association with DASSA.

The day provided an opportunity to reflect on some important questions for school sport: its purpose within education, the ‘Long Win’, the future of the PE curriculum, and some of the current challenges facing schools across the UAE.

Most importantly, it created space for PE and Sport leaders to share ideas, challenge thinking and consider how we can continue to improve the opportunities and experiences we provide for our students.

Thank you to PADSIS @iceeducationuk, Dubai College, our speakers and everyone who contributed to the day. 👏

Developing teachers. Creating opportunities for students. ❤️💚

This weekend, over 150 members of our DASSA community will come together at Kings’ School Al Barsha for the DASSA Development Day.

A day to learn, share expertise and strengthen school sport across Dubai, with our students at the heart of it all.

Every conversation, session and shared idea helps us create better opportunities and experiences for the students we teach.

A huge thank you to our Head of CPD, Leigh Stevens from Kings’ School Al Barsha, who has coordinated the day and brought together a fantastic programme for our schools 👏
