If I had waited for the “perfect” title, this moment may not have happened.

My goal was simple: make AI accessible, practical, and responsible for businesses in my community. 🤞🏽

Over the past several months, I’ve been hearing the same questions from entrepreneurs and community leaders: Is it too late to start with AI? Where do we begin? How much will this cost?

Time is your most protected asset. You can’t afford to experiment blindly. You need real use cases with clear implementation.

Behind the scenes, I support executives and entrepreneurs across NYC as they navigate AI adoption and change management to stay competitive in a shifting economy.

Sometimes, all it takes is one yes. 💫

With the support of the @thenewbxcc , that yes became the Bronx AI Advantage program, where I have the privilege of serving as an AI facilitator. 📊

What stood out most was the mindset shift. Business owners who once questioned whether AI was relevant are now experimenting, implementing, and earning AI certifications to deepen their expertise.

I’m grateful to the instructors and leads at the BXCC to drive this initiative and to share our story with Yahoo and Pix11 with @gracegomeztv ✨

Yesterday, I found an email I had been eagerly waiting for weeks - a memo stating I had become a TEDx speaker. 😲

At that moment, I didn't know whether to jump with joy or take time to process what had just happened.

It wasn't until yesterday, when hundreds of people had already watched my video online, that I started to realize the impact of being invited to speak at the TEDxDeerPark Women event. 😨

During my talk, I shared my experiences of the challenges underrepresented leaders face in data-related professions.

I provided three essential questions to help individuals prepare for pivots and life changes.

My talk celebrated the 2023 #TEDWomen theme of "Two Steps Forward." I aimed to empower my audience to overcome obstacles, conquer their fears, and establish supportive networks by highlighting these three questions.

Today, I am honored to share that I am a #tedxspeaker and presented at the TEDx Conference with TEDx Deer Park with the theme of "Two Steps Forward."

Delivering this talk was not an easy process for me.

I struggled to create a memorable dialogue while prioritizing my personal and professional goals. However, I wanted to challenge myself, hoping my story would encourage others to pivot and embrace the unknown.

My intention is to empower others to honor and share their own truths.

What I wished I knew five years ago! 💭 Five years ago, I was on the path to being in the medical field 👩🏽‍⚕️, from performing direct patient care to clinical research in the lab 🧪.⁣

I always loved technology and the idea of starting a business but didn’t know how I could do that with a public health background. I began to network, enroll in tech & business classes, and get out of my comfort zone. Now, I am working as a Sr. Product Analyst at a Fortune 50 company and businesswoman on a mission to support and uplift more data enthusiasts. 💫 ⁣

We live in a time where AI is woven into nearly everything we do. We've all heard about AI but the real question is: are we prepared for it?

At the APACS Best Practices Conference in Albany, NY, I led a workshop on teaching effectively in the age of AI for STEM high school and college educators.

Returning to my college stomping grounds and sharing what I've learned with the educators who once taught me the value of resilience made celebrating APACS' 40th anniversary even more meaningful.

June ‘19 me and June ‘26 me would definitely have a lot to talk about. ⛳

ICYMI, June was Women’s Golf Month. My first formal introduction to the game was through community by becoming a tee sponsor with @bronxachievementfoundation to help raise funds for high school seniors in my community.

At first, I felt out of my league, but golf quickly showed me how the sport can bring together business, access, and meaningful conversations.

Since then, I’ve been slowly learning the game: experiencing my first LPGA tournament at the @grantthorntoninv attending golf events, joining the @ibm x @themasters experience in NYC, and recently celebrating with the @thenewbxcc at their annual golf tournament.

I’m enjoying how much golf is teaching me about patience, grit, and the confidence to enter spaces that may feel unfamiliar at first.
