#SpotlightOnHer | Today, we shine the spotlight on Datari Ladejo (@datariladejo), a multi-faceted professional who combines legal expertise with digital innovation and social impact. ✨ As a lawyer with international training (LLB from the University of Staffordshire, BL from the Nigerian Law School, and LLM from the University of London Institute in Paris), she specializes in international dispute resolution and economic law. Datari serves as Founder/CEO of two companies - Fernhill Digital Consulting (@fernhilldigital), a consulting group that empowers businesses with digital solutions, bridging the gap between traditional enterprises and the digital future, and Evergreen Curators, a Marketing-as-a-Service (MaaS) agency that amplifies brand visibility through digital storytelling. Her commitment to empowering women led to the establishment of Digital Women Africa, a platform equipping African women with digital literacy skills, mentorship, and opportunities in the digital economy. Datari’s influence extends into humanitarian efforts through her board position with The Rebuilding Lives Mission, Advanced Level Youth Empowerment (ALYE) Foundation, and leadership of the Lagos Chapter of The Women International. Datari is also a member and contributor of the prestigious Forbes Agency Council, where she was recently appointed as the leader of the Women Executives group. As Africa’s digital transformation accelerates, Datari Ladejo continues to have conversations around digital innovation, business strategy, and inclusive leadership. In our conversation with her, Datari spoke on her vision for her companies, her admittance into the Forbes Agency Council, African digital entrepreneurship, and more! Before we head into another week of being very professional 😂 What are you like when nobody’s asking what you do? That version of you probably has some good stories too. Happy Sunday 🤍 #digitalauthority #communications #positioning by @datariladejo
Because we heard Lagos doesn’t do ordinary. 👑🇳🇬 We took the MÄFO dress and turned up the drama. Sculptural sage organza frames her like petals, a sweeping train makes an entrance, and bold gold accessories bring that Queen Mother presence. The dress carries our heritage. The styling makes it gloriously extra. For the MÄFO Dress Brunch Lagos, bring your personality. Keep it simple or go all out. One dress, your expression. 💜 Join us November 8, on the sidelines of CANEX WKND. Reserve your place: https://luma.com/z4qnrvlg #MÄFOTakesLagos #MÄFODress #KiBONEN #canexwknd by @datariladejo
What does it take to turn Nigerian creativity into lasting commercial success? In this week’s She Means Business at BusinessDay, we spotlight Titi Ogufere and her work connecting designers, manufacturers and buyers, opening new routes for Nigerian design to reach global markets. We also explore the financing question: how can creative entrepreneurs prepare their businesses for a lender? From clear financial records to production costs and evidence of demand, we look at what makes a compelling pitch. Two features on the business behind the creativity. Women have a stake in every decision shaping Nigeria’s future. We have so much to contribute to what comes next. That’s the thinking behind “The Policy Room”, a new convening we’re launching through She Means Business at BusinessDay. For our maiden edition, “Women and Nigeria’s Next Chapter,” we’re bringing together women across business, policy and civic leadership to examine women’s role in national development and the opportunities for greater participation and influence. Women are already doing important work across sectors. The Policy Room will bring us together to strengthen our collective influence and turn shared priorities into action. Save the date: Tuesday, 24 November 2026, Lagos. #SheMeansBusiness #ThePolicyRoom #WomensLeadership #NationalDevelopment #BusinessDay by @datariladejo
At what point did “I see her everywhere” start to mean “she must be good”? I’ve made that connection too. The impressive title, the event photos, the announcements. It all adds up to a picture of someone doing well. And I enjoy sharing those moments myself, so I understand the appeal 😂 But there’s a gap between recognising someone and being able to vouch for their work. Seeing more of them doesn’t necessarily close it. Visibility can get the introduction. What happens after that gives people a reason to recommend you. #DigitalAuthority #Credibility #StrategicCommunications #PersonalBranding #Reputation by @datariladejo
Getting hired and getting ahead are two different things. Women make up about 46% of the workforce across Nigeria’s twelve leading banks, yet gaps persist in the progression into management. Who gets promoted, and where do women begin to fall behind? This week’s She Means Business centrespread examines that gap, alongside the African Development Bank backing for 610 women-led businesses in Lagos, including seed funding, training and support to access bank loans. Two stories about women’s economic advancement, from career progression to the capital needed to grow a business. She Means Business runs every Friday in @businessdayng, in print and online. #SheMeansBusiness #BusinessDay #WomenInBusiness #WomensLeadership by @datariladejo
