Today, I became a U.S. citizen, and words can’t capture the overwhelming sense of pride and gratitude I feel. It’s been a long journey, filled with moments of disappointment and pain, but also hope, sacrifice, and determination. Thank you to my mom and dad who made today possible. Thank you for USA, for this country has given me opportunities I never dreamed possible, and today, I finally get to call it my home in every sense of the word.

Standing there, raising my hand, and taking the Oath of Allegiance was more than just a ceremony—it was the moment my dreams turned into reality. I’ve worked hard, like so many before me, to reach this point, knowing the road was not always easy. I was told no so many times, and for a long time I had given up. But every struggle, every challenge, was worth it for this day. I am now part of something so much bigger—a place built on diversity, resilience, and the promise of freedom. With this citizenship comes not just rights, but responsibilities, and I’m ready to embrace them all. To vote, to contribute to my community, to protect the values that make this country strong. My heart is full today, and I’m proud to call myself an American 🇺🇸 ❤️The last slide is my “can’t kick me out no more” face🤪

Sometimes we get so caught up in planning the future, that we forget we are living the life we dreamed and prayed for. Slow down and take a moment to appreciate how far you’ve come and start taking joy in the journey ✨
