After months of Talib Kweli tagging and attacking Christian rapper @datin_tripled on Facebook, Datin finally had enough.

Talib has called him homophobic, racist, a Christian nationalist, a MAGA Nazi and just about everything else you can think of. Even rapper @dee1music , a mutual friend of both artists, reportedly tried to squash the beef—but Talib publicly rejected the apology.

What many people may not realize is that Datin isn’t simply a Christian rapper who decided to make a diss track. Long before Christian hip-hop, he was one of the catalysts behind the explosion of battle rap throughout the tristate area, building a reputation as someone you did not want to go bar-for-bar with.

Datin has now officially responded with “Reflection Internal,” a nearly 10-minute diss track aimed directly at Talib Kweli. The title itself is a play on Talib’s group Reflection Eternal, and Datin uses the track to address the accusations, defend his faith and turn Talib’s own words back against him.

Talib spent months keeping this alive on Facebook.
Now the question is whether he responds on wax—or keeps it on Facebook.

Talib Kweli is obsessed. These are just post and don't include the HUNDREDS of comments where he slanders me on the daily. Do I engage sometimes? Yes. That's how he draws me in to creating content for post. But 95% of the time, these comments attacking me are unwarranted. So this post isn't for him, it's for ya'll. I need ya'll to see why I'm gonna do what I'm bout to do. I'm not blocking him nor am I gonna ignore him (like I've been doing most of the time). Instead, I'll be putting Ephesians 5:11 into practice moving forward "Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them."
