4 years ago we danced at music in the park to Boys of Summer, cuddled on the couch for family movie night, and on your last night with us we soaked in the mineral pools, looking out over the mountains, talking about life and the turns it was taking, and you started planning your next visit.
4 years ago we dropped you at the airport, I told you I love you, we hugged, said goodbye and see you soon.
If I had known it would be goodbye forever, I would have held you longer and tighter, and said so much more.

Time does not heal all wounds and like the memories we hold tight in our hearts will never leave us, grief never leaves us either.
