Everyone asks "should I rent or buy?" Wrong question. 🏡
— The real question is how long you're staying — that's what actually decides the math.

Buy too soon and closing costs can eat whatever you would've saved. There's a break-even point, and most people never check it before deciding.

Timeline first. Numbers second. Let's run yours. 📲

🏠 If I moved back to New Haven, I wouldn't make the same mistakes twice. Here are 4 things I'd do differently 👇

1️⃣ Dig deeper into neighborhoods before committing — not every block is the same vibe
2️⃣ Spend more time in Downtown + Wooster Square (yes, even with @modernapizza calling my name 🍕)
3️⃣ Buy a multi-family or a 3-bed condo by the water — investment > impulse
4️⃣ Use down payment assistance programs like CHFA — up to $25K for single-family, $50K for multi-family 💰

Save this for when YOU make your move. 📌
Drop a 🏡 if you're buying in New Haven this year — let's talk strategy.

Low key, mid, or high key?
Mackin or slackin?
🤣 It’s hard out here doing these cold calls 🤣
It’s like just jumping into some strangers DM and actually making a connection. After a while you get good at rejection and learn the more no’s you get the more yes’s are inevitable!

Don’t take the no’s personal it’s human nature, make the connection and the yes’s come out in full force. Whether looking for your dream home or dream partner let’s get to work!
