“A song that originally appeared on our 2022 album In A mistLY.I just wanted to have another pass at it. It had a guitar lick facing one way and the bass looking away. I needed to parse them so they locked in together better. While I was there I did the vocal again. Then Clare Moore gave it more keys and more backing vocals from and yes, more cowbell”.

It a song about life.
Dave Graney, vocals, electric guitar, bass .
Clare Moore, keys, backing vocals, drums.

2026 remix by Dave Graney
Remastered by Andrew “Idge” Hehir at Soundpark.

Creative Creep, from the first of our two albums released in 2024, (strangely)(emotional). @davehwray on sax. Another song that’s blown up into a real groove as we played it with the mistLY. You could hear it at our afternoon show this Saturday @cross.st.music Cross Street Music Hall. Opening set from @sighphilanthropist playing some Nick Drake songs. #davegraneyandthemistly #crossstmusichall by @dave_graney

Woah! The wind was blowing and the sun was burning on Mindil Beach in Darwin when I did this. But I hope you get the message. The message? We are doing two Saturday afternoon shows at Cross Street Music Hall in Brunswick. A great community space where a civic band rehearses. October 3rd is the first one and we will be stretching out on some different tones and tunes. Joined by @sighphilanthropist who will be playing a set of Nick Drake songs, accompanied by Clare Moore on vibes. Saturday afternoon October 3rd. #davegraneyandclaremoore #davegraneyandthemistly #sifrancis #crossstreetmusichall by @dave_graney

Hanging about in Govt House in Darwin with former road mangler, retired lawyer and writer @bob_gosford today. Oh much unpublishable intel flew about the table. #bobgosford #thenorthernmyth #claremoore #davegraney by @dave_graney
