Basketball nobility is a rare condition, born from the convergence of historical stature and trophy-laden legacies, of legends that crystallize into the present state of the art, of symbols that have shaped, and continue to shape, the imagination of generations of devoted fans.

In the case of @virtusbologna and @olympiacosbc, each of these elements is not only fulfilled but further elevated by the identities of their respective cradle cities: Bologna’s musical and eclectic elegance on one side, the ancient Greek mythology of Athens on the other.

An assist becoming a turnover in the span of a heartbeat. Momentum collapsing into chaos without warning.
