Last night was one of those sessions I’ll never forget! 🤩

After dreaming about a fish like this all summer, I finally came face to face with her! A stunning, perfectly built sea trout measuring well over 70 cm. An absolute dream fish in every way 🩵 taken in Denmark by @davefishing99

The last couple of years, I’ve caught several fish above 70 centimeters with a personal record of 75 centimeters, so beating my personal best seatrout seemed like chasing something unattainable.

But the addiction of fishing is that it is the pursuit of what is elusive but attainable. An endless series of occasions of hope for that big one. Because they are out there! The seatrout of our dreams! Big silver bars cruising around looking for their next meal, and today i came across one of these trophy fish!

An unbelievable seatrout that delivered a fight like I had never seen before! Full of chaos, jumps and long runs! And there were moments in the fight, where I never thought that we would be able to land this fish. But after 12 minutes of chaos and a couple of failed attempts of netting the fish. My dream came true, when we landed my new personal best.

6140 grams and 79 centimeters of pure happiness and I couldn’t believe my own eyes! After carefully measuring the length and weight we let it swim back to where it belongs! “Don’t kill your dream” #catchandrelease

I’m so grateful for this hobby that has turned into my whole lifestyle, passion, and job. Fishing truly changed my life and gave me an opportunity to change for the better!

I’m back in Denmark after a tough trip to Sweden, and i really needed to catch a seatrout now. The conditions looked promising, so I decided to visit one of my local spots, trying to find a good fish. But I only had a short amount of time to go fishing after work.

And then this happened, after only 30 minutes of fishing! A big, fat, chrome seatrout smashed the lure “Sømmet” and made my W4 2nd 3-15g rod bent all the way to the handle. I landed the fish quickly, and still full of energy! She measured 69cm in a really good condition. After a photo session, i released her back to grow even bigger!

This was really a special fish for me, especially after fighting with difficult conditions for 4 days in Sweden, it’s just fantastic to come home and being able to catch a fish like this in my backyard🤩🤩

First 45cm+ of the season absolutely smashed the lure, loaded up the Poison Adrena and took off on a hard first run the second the hook was set. Pure adrenaline from start to finish.

Quick photo, a moment to admire her, and straight back where she belongs🩵 #shimanofishing

What was supposed to be nothing more than a short solo trip to test out my new waders ended up with three beautiful fish in just one hour of fishing. This incredible fish was one of them, measuring over 60 cm and in absolutely perfect condition. She was, of course, quickly released back into the water to swim free again🩵

There’s something truly special about being able to pass on something to your child that has meant so much to you. To share that passion and create those memories together is a feeling that’s hard to put into words.

Today was only supposed to be a little father and son trip out chasing perch. But it turned into a core memory when my 6 year old son, Mason, landed a true trophy perch at 47 cm all by himself! I don’t think either of us will ever forget this one🥰

Almost forgot to post this one!🫣

Another beautiful fish from an incredible day on the coast recently, when the fishing really showed itself at its best. Couldn’t have asked for a better setup for the occasion. The 9’6” Lesath paired with the Stella FK C3000 😎🩵

Early bird gets the worm and the worm gets the fish! Up at 4:00 AM and down by the water at sunrise. No wind, no waves, just blue skies, flat water and a beautiful sunrise.

It didn’t take long before this fish smashed my 16 gram lure over the reef and put the Lunamis rod to work. A couple of quick photos and back she went🥳

Late summer fishing on the coast. They look so beautiful now when they start changing colour and making their way towards the rivers, getting ready to spawn and secure the next generation 🍂

Summer fishing can be absolutely amazing! 🥳

The other evening, I decided to head out for a quick session after dinner and met up with my good friend @ivanpejcicc and within the first 10 minutes, I was already into my first fish.

The next hour and a half was summer fishing at its best, with loads of strikes, contacts and fish landed. It all ended perfectly with this beauty, which absolutely smashed my wobler and went completely crazy, jumping several times during a very hectic fight.

A couple of quick pictures, and she was safely released again, just like all the other fish from the session🩵

Setup:
Rod - Shimano Lesath 9,6’ 7-35gr
Reel - Shimano Stella FK C3000
Line - Shimano Kairiki 8+ 0,13mm Grey

The perfect sea trout tattoo?!

I’ve got a few tattoos, but this one had to mean something more. Fishing has been a huge part of my life for many years, so a sea trout felt pretty obvious.

I brought the idea to Ysh, and after the first session I honestly couldn’t be happier with how it turned out.

Can’t wait to continue this one🫶
