The conditions were perfect for @wb1rds_ and I to enjoy watching SpaceX CRS-35 pass overhead on the way to re-supply the International Space Station.

Thanks to meteorologist @timpandajistv at @13newsnow for mentioning the launch times and direction last night.

Throwback Thursday:
All the way to last week (just got the photo back), when I had the great pleasure to host my good friends, @davehall1911, @wb1rds_ and their lovely dog, Gunner to the Gray Room to catch up and then film an upcoming video on HK’s in service with the SEALs, including a new, limited release rifle. Just another day at HK that didn’t suck.

Throwback Thursday. Spring, 1994 somewhere in the Negev Desert near Nevatim Air Base, Israel. Laying low in the daytime during a pilot rescue (CSAR) exercise in support of the USS Saratoga’s Carrier Air Wing.

DCU’s, black fleece and poncho liners were typical must have items back then. Our NR727’s are lying around there somewhere, never out of arm’s reach. SIG P226 in a leg holster.

Wristwatch Wednesday. A friend recently got his well used SBS Quartz Diver back from being serviced. It’s back on his wrist on the job and displaying great patina.

A little sneak peek behind an upcoming video and special project release that we filmed in HK’s Gray Room with my good friend, Dave Hall. The HK fans will enjoy this “deep dive” back into a look at several of HK’s firearms that were used, with great effect, within the SOF community and the “why”behind the decisions to select HK again and again. You’ll want to tune if for this one when it posts on the HK YouTube channel.
