What a Day of days at The Raise 2026! Music festival of the year? We think so, anyway…

Nearly €30k raised for @msf_ireland —it would not have been possible without ALL the generosity of those involved: artists, volunteers, donors, speakers and all the lovely people who gathered to give.

The Raise is an example of community action at its finest.

You can still donate if you would like to keep the generosity flowing at: https://www.idonate.ie/fundraiser/theraise2026

Special thank you to all our wonderful artists who gave of their time to make the event so special: @kila_official_ @yankarimusic @gavinglassmusic @hamsandwichband @davidkeenanmuso @bressie @lukecarrigmusic @fiachnaobraonain @alba_rose___ @mutethetv_band @thedriftersound

@mundy_music rockin out @kaleidoscopeireland 🎸 . I’ve been to lots of brilliant gigs recently including David Gray and David Byrne but not that many bands are actually cutting loose and bringing the audience to the very edge . Proper rock n roll , I’m privileged to play with

Right up the front for @davidgray last night with my beautiful partner @niama_86 ❤️ for a rare night out . Thanks to @robbiemaloneofficial for rolling out the Gray carpet for us 💪 .

Listening to the songs reminded me of the time when I was asked to audition for the drummers job with him a few years back , but alas was pipped to the post . Good songwriter that lad 🍷

Lovely to see old friends from @theframesofficial days , @donalscannell and @siobhanbegley and one of the nicest men in rock n roll @thetimbradshaw before we took the slightly more dangerous path home along the metals to get the last choo choo 🚂 🤟🌙 by @davehingerty

Day 1 recording/creating my drum loops for my 3rd and last @side4collective record. This is one of the ones that I came up with today. It’ll take about 4 months to get them ready for sharing.

I’ve no idea what approach im going for with this record but it’s sure to be a wild adventure! 🥁🥁🥁🥁 adding loads of percussion and Moog this time. I might even sing in order to make sure it doesn’t end up a commercial success 😅

Get in touch if interested ! It’s collaborative all the way!

I love soundchecks ! Especially when they are with sensational musicians like Keith Farrell… you know the ones that make you sound really good? He’s one of those 👌

Drum grooves include a Linear beat with off beat bass drum , a 3 against 4 hi hat opening thing and … well , just enjoying the jam 🥁💥🎸

#soundchecks #jam #improv #bass #drums

Thanks to Steo Farrell for the vid, another extraordinary musician 🎸💥
