Introducing Milanote 3.0!

Over the past year, I’ve been using @milanoteapp every single day as my idea storage and it’s become my second brain 🧠.

Today they announced drawing directly on boards, and several other new features to help with getting your ideas out.

We upgraded some shots in the video to show the new features, and I got to use my After Effect animation knowledge I learnt from @andrewkramer when I lay in bed for two days watched the entire website 🤩 taken in Sydney, Australia by @davekatague

Yesterday, Li-Chi and I were invited to explore and experience the exclusive Louis Vuitton Maison in Darling Point, Sydney.

We were given a tour by Victor around a beautiful beachfront home furnished entirely with Louis Vuitton objects, wall art, books, bags and luggage trunks.

I love making things together with people who understand the process. With @lichipan and @brambram17 the entire day felt like a blink because we we're having so much fun. 🎥 filmed on @lumix_au GH5 with @zhiyun_tech Crane 2! taken in Darling Point by @davekatague

I’ve been looking for something like this for SO long.

It’s one of the most beautiful apps for organising and visualising ideas, concepts, and connections ➔ between tools, frameworks and categories.

It doesn’t have AI, but it can import many types of files, so you can make it creat these really easily. by @davekatague

No light? No problem.

Just because I LOVE AI — doesn’t mean I’m not still sharpening my skills for light, video, design, writing, editing and marketing.

The mistake I see people making is shortcutting the foundations and fundamentals so when they use AI, they don’t know the words to control it.

🪄 The fun and magic of all of it, is getting to mix them together. taken in Miami Beach, Florida by @davekatague

At last years’ @adobe Max, @thechrisdo and I taught a whiteboard session together on AI. The next day, he ate a sandwich and watched as I screamed inside , “Don’t leave me…” 😱

This year, he went on a well deserved break and I didn’t feel the same nerves — changing from “What will people think of me?” ➔ to “How can I just give the best and most useful things possible?”

It’s still a journey ahead to teach clearer, sharper, with more story, but I’m loving every second of being able to see the spark in people’s eyes when they understand how using AI can be helpful, rather than scary.

Got to meet some wonderful people at Adobe Max this year! Didn’t film as much as I was focused on exploring and being more present. taken in Adobe Max by @davekatague

Have you ever been in a situation where you finally get to meet your mentor…
Then also learn from your mentor’s mentor?

I’m sitting at a food court in Changi Airport, heart full, mind buzzing, reflecting on how many mental blocks have been cleared, how many strong relationships were formed, and the inner growth that only comes from putting yourself way out of your comfort zone.

Sometimes life gives you a shake up.
The kind that rattles your nervous system.
That makes your chest tighten with equal parts fear and fire.
That invites you to step up… or stay small.

Singapore was that kind of trip for me.

Being based in Perth has shaped a lot of my beliefs, what’s possible, how big I can think, and how I’ve seen myself.
But this trip helped me zoom out and realise just how much I’ve been playing within limits I didn’t even know were there.

I got to be in the room with @thechrisdo one of the greatest teachers in the game.
He has this rare ability to listen beyond your words, read your internal script, and reflect back a version of you that’s truer and bigger than you thought possible.

And that’s what this whole experience did for me.

It expanded my mind.
It helped me see my true value.
And it reminded me that when you surround yourself with the right people.. ones who genuinely want you to win, everything changes.

Keep them close.
Your next level is already waiting.
You just have to back yourself enough to go find it.

Thank you to Chris, @drigo_who and @davekatague for having me a part of the team. An opportunity of a lifetime that I’ll forever be grateful for.

Thanks to my big bro @dr_ryangleeson for pushing me off the fence and helping me to commit to investing into myself.

I’m excited to get on my flight home, ground myself and start implementing the action plan that will change my business and life, forever. 🤝🏽📈🎥 taken in Four Seasons Hotel Singapore by @davekatague

So much is happening in the AI agentic space. It’s moving so fast my keyboard thinks agentic isn’t a word.

I got to meet the @manusaiofficial team when they ran their Sydney meetup in Australia recently.

I wanted to be really involved so I took photos for the event, presented some Manus projects I worked on from stage, and to make it slightly more difficult I filmed all of it, as well.

So glad I could see the faces building the product. taken in George Street Sydney by @davekatague

One of the things I love about AI is how far it lets me follow my curiosity into unexpected places - constantly discovering "Can it do this? Oh wow, it can. That's cool." I've been immersed in conversational agents and my own voice clones for 6 months, building and learning at a remarkable pace. While many are focused on creating Ghibli images and action figures in various online communities, I've been transforming what people overlooked as "podcast reading" into something entirely different, applying my psychotherapy and neuro linguistic programming background in ways that open up new pathways, outcomes, and results. It's just one component of a larger system I'm building, and I feel ready to share some of it now. The amount of things this is now creating within seconds is mind blowing. I'm excited to see how these ideas might evolve as more people explore this space. by @davekatague
