I couldn’t ask for a better Christmas gift than seeing my ‘Latex as Skins’ archival print, framed and hung by the incredible @davekinsler next to Depeche Mode’s platinum record, the first show I ever went to. Thank you, David, for giving this work such a special home this Christmas Eve.

I’ll be releasing a few more new prints next year!

Funny story behind this ghostly piece: this is an actual modeling photo of me! We stumbled across a 12x12-inch latex square bag, and I thought, ‘Can I fit inside this?’ Spoiler: I could—and did! Thanks to being small (and strong), I managed to stretch it out, climb in, and create this ghostly image. Trust me, it was a workout.😅

I also did the makeup and photo editing, with just minor tweaks to blend my neckline and adjust the color.

The ghostly essence of this piece, a bold red mouth emerging from pale latex, fingers pressing through like whispers…

Here’s to art, music, and the friends who celebrate both so deeply. Wishing everyone a hauntingly beautiful Christmas Eve. 🎄✨

Cheers to feeling “Normal,” again… and normal has never felt so good, so exciting, so hopeful, and welcomed. For those who lost their normal, you can find it again if you “feel for it.” Special thanks to @vadentodd / @thetoadies for the best therapeutic Rock and Roll album of 2026 and all the underlying encouragement to locate #thecharmer within us all. May (you) and we all succeed in putting our Chramer to rest. Permanently. Think with your brain, but listen to your heart, kids. 🖤🤘🏼

I post this because… people should know the value and the worth of relationships. The grind. The real. The loyal. The legacy. The truth.

April 01, 1999, Tampa Florida, just weeks after my 1st baby Ulanni Adore was born, the EVP of Marketing and A&R for Virgin Records North America in Beverley Hills Eric Ferris, called me and booked me for the publicist position to cover and tour on the bus with Placebo for a few weeks... It was a crazy piece of synchronicity, chaos, and beauty. I have scars on my head to prove it. Placebo and Stabbing Westward got into fights, cause the crowd were chanting for Placebo while Stabbing played. I loved it… A dream come true. And it all started from a dear friend and complete local badass in the music, film, and fashion (national) editorial scene in the Dallas Morning News, @an_uncommon_alchemy who hooked-up a phone call for me with a merch manager- and then it started a riot without her knowledge. 🖤🤘🏼

Here we are, 26 years later, on a “surprise new single drop day” and I still have a relationship with them and management. We can still celebrate across the world together.

Unfortunately, my former Virgin Records boss, Eric, passed away from cancer in Jan 2009, but I hope he’s proud from above. He was a tough SOB to work for, but he was an awesome dad, exciting, relentless, pure soul and Floridian who went the music exec route in California.

But here we are… @placeboworld is one of the biggest bands in the world, and I’m thankful that I’ve had a very, very, very, very small part in it. From the beginning.

End of month Rant.

📸: 7 surprise new Placebo single today “Helen Keller” and it’s so beautiful, sad, and a perfect Placebo song.
📸: 8-10 for those who say “it’s better to have love and lost, than to have never loved before” can suck and kick rocks. I hate you.
📸 11: shots fired. I was recently told my name was brought-up regarding a song an artist who’s dropping a new single very soon that had my name associated with its title and origin. Well guess what, the sentiments are the same. Let me tell you a secret about (some) rockstars and (every) wannabe rockstar- they have the most sensitive egos and they’re some of the most insecure people I’ve ever known, worked with or for. My life is so much better without you in it.
📸 12: such a mice moment watching Music Helps Me board member, Sydney, the sweetest person ever get a bro to help her film a segment at the Charlotte Sands gig.
📸 13: sneak-peek of a new advertising campaign for my new company, with the GREATEST silent partners of all-fucking-time, and the vessel that’s going to change mine and my children’s life forever. 🖤
Conclusion: sending my best to my favs in crew, mgmt, and all in @placeboworld opening their tour tonight in Portugal (@lisa_damato I should have contacted you sooner! 🤦🏻‍♂️) and to my favorite in the Czech Republic. 🖤 #redstring ❤️
And a special shout out to a real one, a true soul, connected to me from a former family we both fucking divorced out of, but remain connected- I see you, I’m so proud of you, and you have no idea how much you’ve helped my soul. I’ll let my friend here express how I feel about the DM’s I got from people in regards to my recent Facebook post and how they’ll “pray for me,” because I don’t want or respect the Evangelical White Christian Nationalism way of life or belief. They turned a “That was then, This is now” post of my daughter and I into political word-salad mess, too. Don’t even start with me. Funny how what you’re force-fed and what’s forced down your throat when you were younger, or in a Christian college, or in a “Non-Denominational Church” you just regurgitate when you get older; wiser, smarter, and logical. Save it. Overshare much, Dave? Maybe- but at least I’m real. Gutted. Transparent. Honest. Raw. I don’t apologize for “my” truth. I only live for my 3 children and they know the truth. They know real. They know brutal truth, and as hard as it might be, they’ll be better humans because of it. That’s what makes me whole- and we won’t adhere or accept your argument over “MAGA Jesus” by any means. Delete me. Please. 🙏🏻

9 years today. No sad posts here, I’ve done too many of those lately. Just happy memories and select pics tonight. The world misses your musical contributions and I miss my friend. Sent you a text like I do every July 20th. Hope you liked it. Still working on our “anti-charity” org and I hope you’ll be proud, soon. I’ve been taking a 🍸 break, but I’ll have a cocktail tonight and pretend we’re secretly sharing it again with nobody around. Fucking miss you. Rest in Power, @chesterbe
