Belated BTS from Friends & Neighbors season 2. To release season 2 while we are actively at work on season 3 (not to mention the show getting a damn Emmy nomination!?) has been a surreal gift, a humbling privilege, and a really fun time. These are friends I will hang onto for a long while. Look forward to sharing the further adventures of Westmont in 2027… #yourfriendsandneighbors @appletv by @davequay

“The Surge” at the Delacorte in Central Park. A privilege to help offer this play to a wider audience. Based on firsthand interviews with Minnesotans who were there, it tells the story of the ICE invasion of Minneapolis from the ground level. “Why this play now?” an easy question to answer with this one.
Officials from MN and NYC as well as some of the actual interviewees for the project were in attendance at Monday’s performance. Thanks to @jessicacblank, @ejensen123, and @publictheaterny and @guthrietheater for making it happen. #delacortetheater by @davequay

2025: crested 40, yelled some Shakespeare and saw the Super Bowl in Edinburgh, lent my voice(s) to two new Ken Burns/Lynn Novick docs, celebrated season 1 and shot season 2 of Friends & Neighbors, celebrated @erinneuferdesu at the Sirens premiere, saw literal Beyoncé, workshopped an excellent play about a dancing plague by @malenapennycook, performed magic at the baptism of @anne_the_troup ‘s “Bellows House,” taught and performed at NYU and at the George School in PA, witnessed several really special family events, marched in support of a properly-functioning democracy, began work on Antigone at the Public, and incorporated Arthur the sweet and weird rescue dog into our household. As ever, grateful and a little amazed at the grounding, loving, generous, present, good community of friends and family I get to be a part of. Love to everyone out there who needs it. See you next year. #onto2026 by @davequay

Got to contribute several voices to this project on and off for the last couple of years. It’s been fun to watch this amazing team in process. A privilege to have played a small part in bringing the project to life. Congratulations to Ken Burns, Sarah Botstein, David Schmidt, and everyone at Florentine Films! Premieres tonight on PBS! #americanrevolutionpbs by @davequay
