Taking time to introduce my first and original postmetal band, CLOUDVASE!The journey truly began with these guys. I had been practicing drumset on my own and going to whatever open jam I could when who else but one of my DAY ONE music friends from middle school, Marcos @emcos_ , hits me up asking if I do any session or recording drumming. We jammed his original music and let me write the drum parts fully. And from there everything just clicked!Words can't express how thankful I am to not only be doing music with an old friend in a genre I truly enjoy personally, but that the creative cohesion between all the members of the band is so good. The more I would do music in the local scene the more I see how incredibly rare that is. At risk of sounding like I'm bragging (which I am to a degree) the music we've made together is truly something special. Taking time to introduce the Caroline Carr band!It's interesting how small the world is. After my name being suggested by multiple people to be this group's live drummer, I would bump into @cat.cavity , their bassist, after playing my own show in deep ellum. After realizing I had already met Caroline at a goth event in the past, having checked out her music, I was sold! It's not just the music itself that is fun to play, it's how much fun we as a group have performing and playing w each other.
