Two @kamelotofficial VIP memories, two years apart. 🖤🤘

2024 — House of Blues, Cleveland (I’m 35 years old there)
2026 — Globe Iron, Cleveland (I’m 37 years old there)

Back in 2024 (first picture), I didn’t end up wearing the 2008 tour shirt I had bought years earlier. Instead, I went with the other shirt I bought back then — the one that says “I Love You to Deth.” 😂

Fast forward to 2026 (second picture), and somehow I did the opposite. I wore my 2024 Kamelot tour shirt to the show… even though I had just bought the 2026 tour shirt while I was there. I could’ve changed into the new one, but apparently I decided it was better to just take it home. 😂

Two VIP experiences, two different venues, two different shirts, and the same band I’ve loved coming back to see. 🖤

P.s. I probably didn’t do a vip shot back in 2008 (when I was only 19 years old, because I either couldn’t afford it at the time, or, I didn’t know about it. That 2008 concert was at peabody’s in cleveland (which no longer exists)

So, I bought this mask, down there in the lower right hand corner, at the @kamelotofficial show here in Cle. On 9/18. It was worn by the girls from frozen crown for the march of Mephisto performance, as they played the opening snare part. However, kamelot themselves, have a song called “one last masquerade” on the new album, “dark asylum”. So, it sort of made sense that they sold a masquerade type mask at the show. I thought it was cute, so, I bought one.

I thought I’d now go as one of these that I had ai generate for either Halloween, or Cleveland’s comicon in March. I likely wouldn’t be able to take a sword, even if it’s fake, into comicon but, maybe hall. Depending.

I told ai why I bought the mask so, it had sort of an idea as to why and how I could do a costume based on it.

Heyyy, look who liked my comment! 😭 I was gonna post just the notification, but Instagram deleted it when I was going through my other notifications and, for some reason, thought I wanted it gone. 😂

I commented this on her most recent post because she hasn’t posted a Cleveland photo yet, and I wanted to get this out there. I gave AI the general idea of what I wanted to say, and it cleaned it up so it sounded appropriate and Instagram-friendly. That’s what AI is actually meant for! You have an idea, and it helps you clean it up and put it into words. That’s what it should be used for! 😂

Anyway, yeah, I’m just glad she saw it and liked it, and I wanted to post that she did. I know it’s kind of silly, but can ya blame me? Lol. 😆

A couple months back, I was trying to find some old @cavsdanceteam photos that I don’t have, because I never got to go to games, so I never got to get those fliers that the girls passed out at games. While I have found 2003-2009 and 2014, on eBay, I still can’t find 2010-2013, and 2018. Anybody wants to find copies of them or sell those, please I’ll do anything for them. Anyway, one of the things I did to try and find those, especially 2008 at the time, and I eventually was able to get a good copy of 2008 on eBay, signed, is, I tried to actually reach out to the @cavs to see if they had anything that old.

Well god bless their hearts, while they were unable to get those years for me, they took it into their own hands to send me something in the mail anyway, just to make me happy. They sent me, a crossword puzzle, which I did, a picture of our center, Jarrett Allen, and this blank 8.5x11 here. What you’re supposed to do, is just, color it in, and take a photo then post it with that particular hashtag I have up there. As well as follow Cavsunited. It can be either here or on x, whichever. I have a chance now to win some prizes, I guess. I never do, but, it’s still worth trying, right?

So, I finally got around to doing it. Whatdya think? I’m not a pro colorer, lol, I just did what I thought would be best representative of @cavssircc and @cavsmoondog

Anyway, again, while I’m bummed they didn’t have the cg years I was looking for, I just wanted to say thanks to the Cavs for sending at least something. It kept me somewhat busy for an hour or two today, after it had been sitting around. I do hope to make it to a game this year, or if not, next, because I’ve never gotten to see @lebron play in person, unfortunately. So I hope to do so before his inevitable retirement.

Maybe the March first game, maybe, since March 19 is my birthday so, it’s my birthday month, and is as of today, 6 months away

I’ve written a lot here, didn’t mean to but, just wanted to get all this out. Thanks for listening to whoever does wind up seeing this taken in South Euclid, Ohio by @davesfromcle89
