It's been an extremely fun few days recording a new quartet record at Get Real Audio, Chippenham with@elliotgalvin, @willharris and @davesmithdrums. A super inspiring place to work and a real pleasure to have Josh Clark @getrealaudio mixing and engineering too.

It's been such a treat to be able to develop this music over the past year or so and to work with these amazing musicians, who brought their voice and personality to the material in a very beautiful way. I'm really happy with how everything has come out and excited to share it in early 2027. :) More on this soon..

In the meantime, how about it for jazz in castles ;) hehe by @davesmithdrums

Fofoulah are bringing their full Sabar induced grooves and positive vibrations to Bistro Lotte in the Frome Festival on 12th July!

Doors open 7.30pm and we’re on stage for 90 minutes around 8pm

Feel it before you play it.

This is 2 over 3 - 2 over 3 - the African rhythm at the root of groove. Using the voice to lock in where the rhythm falls before the hands get involved.

The full workshop is inside Deep Groove Workshops - broken into short chunks with charts.
