16 of my songs have shown up in a AI training database without my consent or knowledge. As an independent artist who began making music in high school before iPhones were even a thing, who has dedicated countless hours of work to improve my craft, fighting for every bit of success I’ve had, this is extremely frustrating to me.

My art is not for machines. It’s for real people.

I don’t know what else to say other than something has got to give. This sh*t is exhausting. Support real artists. It could be me, could be a stranger, could be a random band your friend sent you a link to. Buy an album, go to a show, share their music, do whatever. Machines will never do what WE can.

Peace. by @davezup

the one and only @davezup sits down with @j3chamberlain to talk writing the theme music for THE MEN WHO DREW THE UNIVERSE. Shows this weekend are SOLD OUT, but fear not, comic fans! You’ve still got three more chances to catch The Men Who Drew The Universe onstage @thebroadwaterla as a part of this year’s @hollywoodfringe.

Been messing with the looper feature more on my 404 to try and add some new flavor to my instrumental sets. Nothing too glamorous about this one, just some practice 🤷‍♂️

Might post some more practice vids of mine if yall are into it. Go create something today! Much love.
