"Interstellar Galaxie": 1971 Ford Galaxie 500. The windshield is separated from the roof, while sectioning the cowl to drop it lower on the body. Front sheet metal is adjusted as needed for the sectioning. "B" pillar is lengthened downwards to connect sectioned body, to the main body. The hood is opened to allow the engine and cooling to pop through the hood. The interior receives lay back bucket seats, with a Lokar tall "hot rod" gear selector. Moon tank hung way out in front, is faux; it's there for the look. Two drag parachutes are hung off of the trunk, once again; faux in use. Rims are mismatched, chrome steel slot rims with pinned H&M slicks; while the fronts are Cragar S/S with Moroso drag fronts. Scoop is an Arias single carb unit, hovering above a 460 engine; via a Holley EFI carb. @daviautoart by @daviautoart

I've always wanted a copy of "Showtime", and finally got one. It had a letter in it from the promoter to a sponsor, on company letterhead. Basically showing its authenticity. It was a nice surprise, when I realized it! #daviautoart #showtime #icas #isca #iaspa by @daviautoart

1979 Oldsmobile Cutlass: I cut the roof free of the windshield, then sectioned the body in the cowl area. Sectioning the front end to fit the vehicles look. Removing the "B" pillar all together, and dropping the window openings lower on the body. Removal of rear window glass all together, allowing the air to flow through. Rear is another tail of an Oldsmobile Cutlass, turned upside down and attached to the body. The license plate/ reverse light area is filled in on the top trunk, while kept on the bottom one. Chrome semi-truck stacks are functional on the sides of the car. E/T wheels have their centers painted Gold, and the outer area is in chrome. #daviautoart by @daviautoart

1969 Oldsmobile Cutlass S: First order of business it cut the top free of the windshield, then channel the cowl and "A" pillar. Making window openings large enough to enter/exit vehicle, while reinforcing the body. Front is completely modified, or you can do as you want. Thrush "Outsider" side pipes run the lower body, while Texas wire wheels are the rolling stock! #daviautoart by @daviautoart
