Drawing about drawing Thinking about drawings that are about the feeling of drawing makes my head hurt... Especially drawings that are about the feeling of reflecting on the act of drawing... 😅 A2 giclee print 2026 (from 2024 drawing) #vertigo #drawing #print #art #artist by @david.alderman

Pencil drawing 2024 I have moved away from straight clean lines this past year or so but I still love returning to it, to playing with and using and appreciating them... As with most of my drawing, this will eventually be filled in with colour in varying reproductions, be 'finished' but I always love the empty lines just as they are........ #art #drawing #line #singleline #drawing #justdraw #artist #artonpaper #faces #artwork #shapes #heads #pencil #contiguous #lineart #artforsale #print #printsforsale #studio by @david.alderman

David Alderman, Artist, Folkestone, 2022 David is an incredibly talented man.  If you look at his drawings properly, you'll quickly begin to feel riveted to them.  The amount of thought and precision he puts in each piece (they are hand drawn) is captivating and, when you see them in the flesh in an exhibition (as I have), you simply can't stop looking - they have a sort of hypnotic quality.  I have consistently told him he should, at some point, publish a book with a large selection of them...  I hope he does eventually.    For those of you who don't know David's work, check out his website - www.davidaldermanart.com #kentportraitphotographer #kentportraitphotography #folkestoneportraitphotographer #folkestoneportraitphotography #portraitofanartist #creativefolkestone #folkestoneart @david.alderman by @david.alderman
