Frames from Waterworld 💧

One of Vietnam’s oldest floating fishing communities, where hundreds of families still live in houses anchored across the bay, making a living from fishing and farming clams and oysters

There isn’t a school in the village, so every morning the children take a water taxi to the mainland and return home across the water at the end of the day

The last two frames show the bay glowing with bioluminescent plankton, a phenomenon that can be seen at certain times of the year

Watching the water light up with every movement was one of the most surreal experiences I’ve ever had ✨

One of the craziest experiences ever, back when I had no clue how to use a camera 🐉🐉🐉

Almost no light at all, that sunset was pretty much all we got
Ate hot dogs on a beach between fjords after chasing the aurora in a van at 3AM
Saw humpback whales around Skjervøy
An orca swimming through the fjord
Dropped my camera (lens facing down) in the sand
Froze my hands off trying to shoot the dancing lights

0% skill 100% fun
