HELLO KITTY CRAZE HAS HIT LAKEWOOD!

The Mayor and I took a trip to the Angelo M. Iacoboni Library to see what all the buzz was about!

LA County Library has limited-edition Hello Kitty® and
Friends library cards available while supplies last! But it’s not just about the cute cards—your library card unlocks free books, movies, tutoring, fun events, and so much more!

So grab your photo ID, visit your local library, and get in on the fun! Who knew learning could be this cute?

City of Lakewood’s official proclamation of October 2026 as Filipino American History Month! 🙌🇺🇸🇵🇭

As a young Filipino-American singer-songwriter, I’m proud to celebrate our rich history, culture, and the generations of Filipinos who have made a difference.

A heartfelt thank you to Mayor @councilmemberjeffwood , the Lakewood City Council, @david4lakewood @rudyvillarreal2026 @toddrogers4lakewood and @mayorcassandrachase and all city officials for recognizing Filipino American History Month through this special proclamation.

It was wonderful sharing this special moment with,Ms. Catherine from @gemmaebakeshop, content creator Ms Honey @lifethroughhnyb , @alohabeechservices and other inspiring Filipinos who continue to make our community proud! 👏

Proud of our roots, our history, and our Filipino Heritage! Mabuhay! ❤️🇵🇭🇺🇸

Mooch Coffee is brewing up something good in Lakewood!

The Mayor and I stopped by to hang out, enjoy some good coffee, and have a little fun! We always love seeing our local small businesses doing their thing.

So next time you need a caffeine boost, skip the ordinary and give Mooch Coffee a try! Great coffee, local love, and a little moo-ood boost to your day!

Thank you to the City of Lakewood for illuminating the tree in front of City Hall in pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Cancer touches so many lives, including our own families and friends. My family experienced the pain of loss, but we were also blessed with a few extra years with our loved one thanks to treatment. Those years are something we will always cherish.

May this pink light represent hope, strength, and a reminder to support those fighting cancer, honor those we’ve lost, and continue raising awareness for all types of cancer.

Lydia brings the energy and keeps it real! 💙🧡 Hear why she’s supporting Brad Crihfield for Bellflower Unified School Board!

Because having someone in your corner who works hard, cares deeply, and never forgets who they’re fighting for makes all the difference.

🗳️ Re-Elect Brad Crihfield!

A pleasure to “Mosey with the Mayor” of Lakewood. Lakewood is a beautiful community filled with beautiful people.

Thank you @jessiejoi99 for the introduction and support.

An honor to have the opportunity to meet @councilmemberjeffwood, @mayorcassandrachase , @david4lakewood, and @rudyvillarreal2026 and the people of Lakewood!

One of my favorite things about this campaign has been getting out to meet the people of LA county. Lakewood did not disappoint.
