Last weekend, I had the privilege of documenting the Intentional Parents Academy Conference in Lagos by @wendy.ologe (Grandmother because am her grandson🌚) Nigeria, capturing the moments, the people, and the stories that made the experience memorable.

Behind every frame is a story worth telling, and I’m grateful for every opportunity to tell these stories through my lens.

More than just taking pictures, it’s about preserving moments that matter.

This is documentary photography.
This is storytelling.
This is my craft.

More than a boot camp.
It was a building ground.

From learning responsibility to embracing discipline, accountability, and self-control, our boys were challenged to grow, lead, and become better versions of themselves.

These are some of my favorite moments from the Abuja Bootcamp moments that captured learning, laughter, courage, teamwork, and the making of young men with purpose.

“No go use another person clock check your time. E no go correct.” ⏰- RWP.

That simple statement from @realwarripikin carried a powerful reminder: your journey is unique, and your timing is different. Comparing your life to someone else’s will only make you lose sight of the purpose and season God has prepared for you.

It was a privilege to document this impactful session as she shared practical, honest, and inspiring life experiences with women encouraging them to embrace their own journey, grow with confidence, and trust the process.

Some lessons don’t just inspire you; they stay with you.

Documenting behind the Scenes.

Yesterday’s Sex Education Class for Boys was a back-to-back session, and while our coaches were at the forefront delivering impactful lessons, an incredible team was working tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure everything ran smoothly.

Over the weekend, I had the privilege of documenting The Governor, Coach Kunle Ologe, and Coach Wendy at Living Faith Church, Jahi.

The speaking sessions focused on marriage and everything related to building a successful marital life.
Each session was followed by an engaging question and answer segment, where participants had the opportunity to gain deeper insights and practical guidance.

It was an activity-packed weekend, with back-to-back events spanning three days.

Here are some of my favorite images, randomly selected from each session, capturing some of the memorable moments from the weekend.

A man who has given his wife the wings to soar.

On the few occasions I have had the privilege of photographing Coach Kunle and Coach Wendy, I have consistently observed the deep honor and respect he shows toward his wife especially when they are both speaking at the same program. It is always a beautiful and admirable sight to behold.

At this particular event, he was scheduled to speak first, followed by his wife. Notably, she joined him on stage to offer a formal introduction before he began his presentation.

The images captured reflect a subtle yet powerful gesture how he graciously allows his wife to step forward ahead of him before he mounts the stage. It is a quiet expression of leadership, honor, and partnership that speaks volumes.

Story time! 😃

I took these first set of images back in March 2021 during an online course for boys. It was right at the beginning, just a simple moment captured, nothing too grand at the time.

Fast forward to now… it’s been 9 solid years of consistency. 9 years of showing up, growing, learning, and building something truly impactful. And for me, it’s also been years of faithfully documenting these moments through my lens.

Looking back at these images today, all I see is growth, consistency, and undeniable hard work. What once seemed like small beginnings has now become a powerful story worth telling over and over again.

To my mentors, happy anniversary!
It’s been an absolute privilege to walk this journey with you and to capture these timeless moments year after year.
These memories are priceless, and I’m grateful to be part of the story.

Here’s to many more years of impact, growth, and beautiful moments worth documenting. 📸

Is there always a story waiting to be told every time you pick up your camera?

Honestly, not always. Sometimes, it feels dry nothing inspiring, nothing exciting. The environment isn’t friendly, and everything around you seems lifeless.

But guess what?

I still shoot.
I still frame.
I still tell stories regardless of the environment or the circumstances.

Because as a documentary photographer, the story isn’t just in the moment… it’s in the way you choose to see it.

So keep shooting.
Keep creating.
And most importantly keep telling stories.
