Some projects you take because it’s work💯
And then there are projects that give you immense fulfilment because of the lives you witness being changed ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥

On the 11th of April 2026, my team had the privilege of documenting something I will not forget quickly.

Saved2Save International took to the streets of Lagos with one mission. To change lives by restoring the identity of millions of young people battling addiction, shame and destructive habits, and leading them into freedom through faith, psychological renewal and practical transformation.

We witnessed over 3,000 young people reached that day and by the end of it, over 1,400 of them said yes to a different life.

It is surprising how many young people are completely unaware of how deeply these issues are affecting them.

According to reputable sources, over 34 million Nigerians currently use drugs, with young people being the most affected demographic and the numbers are still growing. P*rnography, gambling and substance abuse are silently destroying a generation that deserves far better.

Millions more are trapped in things they are too ashamed to say out loud.

This is just the beginning of what they are building.

Pastor @david_e_onochie reached out to me and asked that I join his Saved2Save International team (@freedomexperienceintl) on an outreach to some secondary schools across Lagos. I went in as a professional cinematographer. I came out as a member of the team 😂

I watched grown men and women sit with teenagers and talk about the things adults are usually too uncomfortable to name. Fraud. Pornography. Substance abuse. The pressure of social media. The slow erosion of identity. The quiet question almost every young person is carrying but does not know how to ask: who am I actually supposed to be?

They did not give these students theoretical guidance. They loved them and showed them a better way to do life. And they did something most outreaches never bother to do. They invested in them. Scholarships were handed out on the spot, both to students whose parents could not afford to pay their fees, and to those who carry a genuine passion and zeal to change their world.

Saved2Save International (@freedomexperienceintl) exists to restore the identity of millions of young people battling addiction, shame and destructive habits, and to lead them into freedom through faith, psychological renewal and practical transformation.

And on Saturday, 30th May 2026, they are hosting Freedom Experience 1.0 at The Dome, Freedom Centre, Lekki Phase 1. 9AM.

If you are young and you are tired of the noise. If you are tired of pretending. If you are tired of carrying something in private that is quietly stealing your future. If you have ever wondered what you were actually created for. Go. I am not exaggerating when I say this could be the most important Saturday of your year.

Bring a friend. Bring two. Bring the one you have been worried about.

This is the work I will keep showing up for.

What happens when you get everything you've ever wanted in life;

The money
The S3x
the fame
the career .

Then what??

What happens when after all these things, there's still a void, something that feels empty?

Then what?!

What is your life really about?

A look back at Freedom Experience 1.0.

Young people came together for conversations that are often kept quiet: addiction, destructive habits, identity, and the pressures shaping a generation.

Through shared stories, open conversations, and community, the day reminded us that change is possible-and no one has to take the next step alone.

We’re grateful to everyone who made the first Freedom Experience what it was. This is where the conversation began.

Celebrating the woman whose prayers have carried me further than I can measure. Happy birthday to my mum, my first teacher and my constant intercessor.

Just as the Book of Proverbs says, ‘Her children arise and call her blessed’ (Proverbs 31:28). Today I rise and call you blessed, Mum.

I love you, and I pray this new year brings you strength, joy, and good health 🎂❤️ taken in Ikoyi, Lagos, Nigeria by @david_e_onochie

Some deep and thought-provoking questions came up during the panel session of The Freedom Experience 2026. Our panelists didn’t shy away from them. They shared honest answers, personal insights, and practical wisdom that got everyone thinking.

There were moments that challenged perspectives, moments that brought clarity, and moments that simply reminded us that we’re all figuring things out one step at a time.
Here’s a highlight from that conversation.
