This morning we joined Minister of Small Business Development Stella Ndabeni, Deputy Minister of Public Works and Infrastructure Sihle Zikalala, and MEC of COGTA Jacob Mamabolo in Modderfontein for the launch of the CIDB Construction Fund. The fund is a bold initiative designed to expand access to finance, advance transformation, and empower emerging contractors within the construction sector. The R300 million allocation is more than project financing. It is an investment in enterprises that create employment, sustain households, and strengthen local economic development. Disbursements will be structured in line with the fund’s objectives and implementation framework to ensure alignment with viable contracts and measurable growth outcomes. by @david_maqabane
