“Identity”

Digital art

Been really fascinated with continuing to tinker with harsh textures and blending modes in ps because I really don’t know anything about art still but it’s been a nice experience learning. Have a few others I’ll put up soonish that have the same aesthetic as this one, but this one was my favorite so I decided to post this one on its own

K thanks bye

“Revelations”

Digital Collage

I am extraordinarily proud of this one. It’s typically rare that I feel especially proud of a piece I’ve made but looking back on this one I still really like it. Sometimes it just comes together :) by @david_wheeler2.0

“Bad Dog”

Digital graphic

Recently I’ve found myself fascinated with dogs as symbols / ideas. It’s so neat examining the wide variety of tones and feelings that dogs can convey, and I kinda hoped to capture a specific tone with this one. by @david_wheeler2.0

“Misplaced”

Digital Graphic

I’ve really been trying to capture some more aesthetically dark visuals in some recent work. Idk I like how this one turned out. It’s really fun to mess with harsh blending techniques. by @david_wheeler2.0

“Windows”

Digital Collage

For those of you familiar with my previous art, I don’t need to explain how much I adore using space in my pieces. I’ve always just loved the look of it, especially in contrast to objects in the foreground. Anyways, I quite like this one. by @david_wheeler2.0

“No Complaints”

Digital Collage

This one represents how I’ve felt a lot recently. There are a lot of times where my mental takes a decline and I try to almost pressure myself into being happy because, from an objective point of view, I’m in a good situation where things are going well and most people should theoretically be happy. This usually just leads to guilt further spiraling the decline though lol.

“Pace Yourself”

Paper Collage

This one is just a self-reminder not to feel the need to constantly be keeping up with the rapidly changing world around me. There’s so much happening and it’s very easy to get overwhelmed. At the end of the day, one of the best things you can do is relax and slow down. by @david_wheeler2.0

“Predation”

Digital graphic

Inspo for this one just comes from frustration about how our president and almost everyone in his cabinet are either pedophiles or actively protecting pedophiles. Truly sickening state we live in. It’s very hard to be optimistic about the future of this country with such deeply entrenched corruption. by @david_wheeler2.0
