Congratulations to our dear @davidadammoore 🎉, who plays “Tom,” in ADORATION—an uncle who’s just trying his best as he cares for his late sister’s son. Thank you for all you’ve brought to this role, David! — Named one of the world’s 100 most creative visionaries in experiential art by the XLIST 2025, David Adam Moore maintains a prolific international career as a performer, director, and immersive media artist. As a Grammy-nominated leading baritone for companies including the Metropolitan Opera, Teatro alla Scala, Covent Garden, and the Salzburger Festspiele, his repertoire of over 60 principal roles features acclaimed interpretations of Don Giovanni, Eugene Onegin, Dead Man Walking, Billy Budd, Stanley Kowalski, Prior Walter, Winterreise, and Carmina Burana. A devotee of contemporary music, Moore has created roles for composers including Thomas Adès, Sarah Kirkland Snider, Peter Eötvös, Mary Kouyoumdjian, and David T. Little. His work in digital media and performance art has been presented by institutions worldwide, including the Guggenheim, Lyric Opera of Chicago, and the Tel Aviv Museum of Art. Alongside his artistic partner, director/designer Vita Tzykun, Moore is the artistic director of the NYC-based transmedia collective GLMMR. He serves on the faculty of the Eugene O’Neill Theater Center’s National Theater Institute and as Granada Artist-in-Residence and Visiting Professor at the University of California, Davis. by @davidadammoore
✨ Honored to be named one of @xp_land’s 100 most creative visionaries shaping the future of immersive experience! ✨ Over the past few years, @vitatzykun and I have dedicated ourselves to creating impactful, human-centered immersive art - bringing together live performance in theater, opera, and dance with emerging technologies in video, 3D, sensors, and spatial sound. None of this would be possible without the inspiring teams of performers, technologists, musicians, builders, and thought leaders that we have been so fortunate to collaborate with. It’s a true milestone for us to be recognized by the incredible @xp_land community, and to share this honor alongside some of our most influential role models, creative heroes, and beloved colleagues like @beth.morrison__ and @paolaprestini . Thank you for seeing us, and celebrating the magic of immersive storytelling! 💫 Images from some recent immersive projects I’ve created or worked on: Taming the Lightning (GLMMR) REFUGE (GLMMR) Moral Injuries of War (Jack Saul) The Rent/Boheme Project (Vita Tzykun and Tomer Zvulun) #ImmersiveExperience #XPland100 #ArtTech #LivePerformance #CreativeVisionaries #HumanCenteredArt #Transdisciplinarity #21cArtSong #FutureOpera @nationalsawdust @ucdavistheatredance @ucdavisbotanicalconservatory @marlenetheplantlady @mashafroliak @mcoopergrenke @mlkempspace @jacksaulofficial @theatlantaopera @tomerzvulun 📸: @zeke.zhang.77 @the_cooler_daxi @je77yt Link in bio: https://www.xp.land/xlistings-index/ by @davidadammoore

Created through a commission from @sparksandwirycries and developed by @glmmr at @nationalsawdust, Eleven Fragments for the Book of Dreams is built upon poet Sonja Krefting’s prescient exploration of the afterlife - written shortly before her unexpected, untimely death. @davidtlittle, @vitatzykun, and I were commissioned to write separate components of the piece that could interlock, or stand alone. My contribution was digital, David’s vocal, Vita’s tactile. We presented two iterations at National Sawdust, then got really busy. David’s a capella component continues to live on through multiple performances worldwide. We plan to pick this back up in the future. And perhaps more chapters to this particular book are yet to be written. In the meantime, it brings me great joy to see David’s evocative setting of Sonja’s words brought to life by such beautiful artists as @yanamann__ . by @davidadammoore
[Free dress rehearsal media access + discount code provided by the Boston Lyric Opera] Opera is for everyone. William Tell tells the timeless story of rising up against oppression and fighting for what you believe in, a message that had the audience buzzing when I asked them for their thoughts during intermission and after the show. Here’s what the opera-goers of the evening had to say and why they think you should get an opera on your calendar this season ⬇️ 🎭 Use code QUIETTENSION for 20% off tickets to upcoming shows A Streetcar Named Desire, The Marriage of Figaro, and Ayre during the @bostonlyricopera 2026-27 season! Enter the promo code at ticketing.blo.org in the “promo code” box. Very fortunate to catch a rarity in #Boston Guillaume Tell / William Tell produced by @bostonlyricopera as its season opener Attending #opera is a wonderful opportunity - so much to absorb and process in real time - the music, the story, the production, the craft of the performance. The priorities and focus can change every second as the work progresses through time. Where do you like to focus? The cast was absolutely stellar!! Personal shoutout to longtime colleague @anya_matanovic for her wonderful scenes. The music making so wonderful, but her presence onstage brings the entire audience and company into her adventure. Kudos to @ninayoshidanelsen for #doubleduty as Artistic Director and stage performer! I love when these opportunities happen. The production by @glmmr was stellar!! Aesthetically modern by @vitatzykun and @davidadammoore which allows the contemporary audience to connect with the work. Trimming this epic was no small feat, but it worked very well. A story of occupation and many controlled by the few is quite timely in many lands. What are you looking forward to this season? Next up in opera is Lincoln in the Bardo @metopera by @davidadammoore
Some impressions from our final performance of 𝑮𝒖𝒊𝒍𝒍𝒂𝒖𝒎𝒆 𝑻𝒆𝒍𝒍 on Sunday in Boston. Such a warm audience throughout the run - it was a real pleasure to sing for you! What a way to begin the 2026/27 season: with Rossini’s extraordinary work opening Boston Lyric Opera’s 50th anniversary season. So grateful to have shared this experience with such a wonderful company and team. @bostonlyricopera #guillaumetell #rossini #opera #classicalmusic #bostonlyricopera by @davidadammoore

In an effort to erase the cultural identity of the Helvetians, the Allemanians forbid them from wearing the color red. The only time they are able to reveal their sacred heirlooms is during a secret wedding celebration during which a same-sex couple is getting married as well. An act that is strictly forbidden by the authoritarian regime. Another WILLIAM TELL show TONIGHT at the Emerson Colonial Theatre!
