I want to introduce myself to all my amazing new followers!

First off, thank you all so much for your love and support! If you swipe through the carousel, you'll see a short clip that shows how one of my toilet paper roll puppets works. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Hi, I'm David Bizzaro. Yes, that is my real name. I am primarily a father, Husband, puppeteer, clothing designer, actor, and professional cookie man. Please send cookies. 🍪

I've been working in TV and film since I was sixteen. I started as a camera operator and editor, and over the past twenty-five years, I've worked on so many sides of production and post-production, from making music videos and documentaries for The Flaming Lips, building puppets and props for Sesame Street, and performing Dr. Teeth's Dad on The Muppets Mayhem. I've worn lots of hats, learned so much from so many brilliant people, and been able to live an extraordinary life thus far.

My favorite thing is making my son giggle, and my wife laugh until she has to pee. Throughout my life, the best moments have been making others laugh. My aunt tells a story about how when I was a toddler, maybe two or three years old, I told jokes in the back of her car, and when she tried to tell a joke, I said, "Auntie, leave the jokes to me. I'm the funny man." Building puppets and garments is fun, but being funny is the golden ticket.

I hope my creations and videos bring some laughter and joy in to your life. If not, it wasn't me who posted that. It was some other guy with a made-up last name. 🤪❤️

Congratulations to the cast and crew of @themuppetsmayhem!!!

I feel so fortunate to be a small part of this Emmy Award-winning show! It was incredible to be able to play with the big kids.

I loved David Lightbody's acceptance speech. Puppetry showed a strong presence at this year's award ceremony!

I am Dr. Teeth's dad! 🦷🎉🎸

In the new @disneyplus series The Muppets Mayhem, I guest star alongside the incredible Stephanie D'Abruzzo as Gerald Teeth Sr., Dr. Teeth's father. Working on The Muppets Mayhem was incredible. Everyone was so kind and supportive. In between takes, @kimmygatewood would laugh at all my bad jokes. I knew they were terrible, but because she laughed, I felt like maybe I could pull off being Gerald. 😜

Go watch The Muppets Mayhem now!! It's so funny and filled with incredible talent and joy. The whole series is streaming now on Disney+!!! 🎉🤘🎸🦷

We are featured in @tulsapeople! ❤️

It’s truly an honor to be featured in the September Fashion Issue. @cassandrabizzaro and I have been working incredibly hard as we prepare to open our new location in January, and this feature has put even more wind in our sails.

Thank you, TulsaPeople Magazine, for the wonderful feature and for sharing our story.

My students made puppets! 💖

Look at all these amazing puppets! I had such a great time teaching my students how to build a simple fur hand puppet. Their creativity was on fire! 🔥

I taught them the same fundamental techniques I was taught for cutting, sewing, and bringing a fur hand puppet to life, along with tips and tricks I’ve picked up from other builders and through my own experience.

We have one more class this Saturday, 8/29, from 1–5 p.m., and there are only three seats left! by @davidbizzaro

The Muppets take the Philbrook!

I had an amazing time hosting the screening of my favorite muppet film at @philbrookmuseum! We showed The Muppets Take Manhattan. Before the screening, I talked about why the film is my favorite muppet film, I showed the audience how TV puppetry works, and I brought an audience member up to try it out. And she did great!!

Thank you, Philbrook, for having me, and thank you to everyone who came out. 💚💚💚 taken in Philbrook Museum of Art by @davidbizzaro
