most people think they want to be rich when they actually just want to feel free

from a psychological perspective “luxury” is not a car, a watch or a penthouse…

1. it’s self-worth.. when you stop seeking validation because you already know your value
2. it’s alignment.. only doing what matches your values, not someone else’s timeline
3. it’s freedom.. trading noise and pressure for peace and possibility
4. it’s connection.. investing in people and experiences that actually nourish you
5. it’s purpose.. living with intention and building something that matters

18 months sober. now what?

that was the question nobody prepares you for. when the chaos settles and life starts feeling stable again. you did the hard part… you made it through the first year and then some.

and then it hits you.. surviving was never the goal.

I started learning about self actualization. the idea that every human has a ceiling of potential and most of us never get anywhere near it. not because we can’t. because we stop climbing the moment things feel okay again.

that’s the trap. comfortable but uninspired. stable but unfulfilled.

what I’ve learned is that real change doesn’t have to be slow. the moment a decision is truly made the mind shifts first and everything else follows.

18 months without alcohol and 2 months in the gym. that’s it.

I’m not chasing a body. I’m chasing the fullest version of myself... and we’re just getting started 🙏🏽

spent 5 days learning from the best of generation zed.. turns out that I need to be a little bit more retarded 😎

as a millennial, we’re sandwiched between boomers who only knew traditional career paths (and pushed us that way out of love) and a generation that is absolutely smashing it with social media and AI.

when these kids lock in, the results are genuinely mind-blowing. and as someone who spent my 20’s traveling instead of hustling… it is inspirational to see them doing both at the same time.

i find myself constantly humbling myself to learn from them. because location freedom, working on what you love, building something real online… that’s my definition of success.

full circle moment: @alexulbin and i shot at this villa last year and he said he’d love to host a retreat here. one year later, he did it! now that’s a win worth celebrating 🥳
