Here is my look inspired by AI Hallucinations from my class Glam Error 404: Drag Makeup Deconstructed @americasbeautyshow with @chicago_makeup_school on my “biblically accurate drag queen” model @kahmorahall

The “makeup” for this look started a month ago by doing the eye makeup on Kahmora, photographing it, then printing the images to incorporate into the headpiece that I then created.

I had a ball teaching the art of drag makeup, tromp-l’œil, makeup maximalism, and artistic expression. Thank you to every single human who attended the class!

I created carcinogen smoke eyelashes from melted coffee stirrers, (real) poppy seed resin bubbles, cracked lip, and yellow/green radium skin.

I got to paint @sosobrat as Princess Da Clown for Disney’s new sitcom Saturdays! My incredible DH @jessica_theartist let me design and apply this hip hop clown makeup. If only I could tell my younger self I would be designing and painting a certified Disney Princess! 2 new episodes out today on Disney Channel starting at 8:30 ET!

Here are some of my favorite looks on the talented and beautiful @sophiaechendu as Desiree for @shothechi Season 8. It’s been such a joy creating the makeup for this chameleon of a character.
Desiree’s journey took her from an icy, image-obsessed influencer and social climber to a warm, authentic, endearing girlfriend. Her makeup evolved with her.
We began the season with bold color, metallics, high-contrast graphic shapes, and cool icy tones. As she evolved, the finishes became softer and more diffused. Multichromes and sparkle were applied, then lightly powdered to create a subtle twinkle, like sunlight through clouds. We also softened the eyes, moving from crisp black liner and mascara to rich burgundy mascara with soft brown or no liner. Her color palette gradually shifted into warm tones by the finale, while she remained unmistakably Desiree with her drawn-on freckles and custom spiked lashes serving as a consistent visual throughline.
I always used cool pink blush and highlighter across the tops of her cheekbones, paired with warm golden orange tones on the apples of her cheeks.
Her brows were groomed only with clear brow gel and never filled in, except for the bleached-brow photoshoot and the Y2K party look.
I often used the incredible multichrome lip balms from @hyrularbeauty They give an elevated color shift in an effortless, wearable texture, sometimes worn sheer as a soft wash and other times layered for a high-shine finish.
Her makeup went from icy and untouchable to golden-hour girlfriend warmth. What’s your favorite look?

My favorite looks on the incomparable @monroealisep as the unforgettable Isis Monroe.
Getting to paint Monroe throughout The Chi has been an absolute joy.
She brought every single look to life with her undeniable presence, beauty, and incredible performances. Beyond the makeup, Monroe is simply one of those actresses who makes every set a better place. Brilliant, hilarious, endlessly charismatic, and genuinely caring.
A huge congratulations on the release of her new book, I’m Clockable! I couldn’t be happier for her. Go grab a copy and celebrate this incredible lady!
