I am actually so extraordinarily lucky to do what I do. I love my job. I’ve gotta pinch myself every day to make sure this life is real. I never underestimate the trust my couples give me - it’s a true privilege and an honour.

And what an even greater honour it was to document the first service in St Oswald’s Church since it was damaged by the Kaikōura earthquake. Wow.

Katie + Callum, your wedding day was an absolute joy from start to finish. Thank you, thank you so much for having me. I love you guys.

And over to the vendors (that I remember):

Your wedding can be anything you want it to be. Just let it be you.

I’m so glad you are here. We got this:

🜂 So, you’re feeling a bit nervous (or basically terrified) about being in front of a camera, and you think you’re going to be all awkward and weird.

🜂 All you really want is an album full of fun, totally kickass photos that are real – and not some icky, posey photos that make you cringe.

🜂 Your goal is to marry your bestest friend and party all night with your whānau and friends.

🜂 You welcome a little help with planning your day – including vendor suggestions, timelines, and how to really make the most of your day.

Keep it real Capture the good stuff. Make sure your photos feel like you.

If you hadn’t heard the news already, my very good friends are bringing My Wellness Infusions to Marlborough, and I’m excited to be helping them spread the word.

I’m looking after their marketing, and I also have a personal interest in this space - the science behind IV infusions and how they might shape the future of wellbeing.

This is the first legitimate doctor led wellness infusions clinic in the region, and I think it’s gonna be a game changer.

They’re launching with Revive & Restore: an Urban Retreat Day, in collaboration with Embody.

Four experiences. One restorative Sunday.

• Stretch & Breathe: a gentle 45-minute flow
• Breathwork & Manifestation: guided by Sarah
• Nourishing Lunch Bowl: goodness shared in good company
• Wellness Infusion & Sound Bath: a Signature IV Infusion, administered by the clinical team with medical oversight from Dr Rachel Thomas, alongside a crystal sound bath, wall projections and an infrared glow.

Their Signature Infusion—usually $280—is included in the event price.

If you’re interested in getting in on the ground floor of this wellness movement, I urge you to try it out.

Book via the link in @mywellnessinfusions’ bio.

And if you can’t make it, give my friends a follow!

Sunday 15 November | 11am–2pm
Embody, 27 Queen Street, Blenheim Central
$305 per person | Just 16 places
Women and men welcome.

I am so so so happy and privileged to finally share this with you all.

For the past six months, I’ve had the absolute pleasure of working alongside the wonderful team at Thomas’s Marlborough to bring more than a century of history, memories and stories to life.

And today, the full 11-ish mini-documentary is finally here!

Through hours of interviews, archival photographs and conversations with the people who know Thomas’s best, a film was put together that celebrates the people behind this much-loved Marlborough institution.

For me, this has been one of those projects that reminds me exactly why I love doing what I do.

A massive thank you to everyone who shared their memories, opened up their archives, sat in front of my cameras and helped bring this project together.

And to the entire Thomas’s team, thank you for trusting me to tell your story.

I’m really happy to be contributing what I can to such a worthwhile cause next week. I’ll be behind the camera - photos and video - for Fashion for a Cure next Thursday, 29 October, at Oak & Ivy in Marlborough!

An evening of incredible fashion, beautiful food and good people, all coming together to support life-changing breast cancer research.

With Juliette Hogan presenting an exclusive runway show and Antonia Prebble hosting, it’s shaping up to be a pretty special night.

I’d love to see a few familiar faces there!

Grab your tickets via @breastcancercure and come along for a brilliant cause.

A little wee fun throwback here to Cameron and Portia’s incredible wedding in the Marlborough Sounds.

I felt like such a lucky guy to be a part of this. by @davidjames.studio

Okay! I have been saving this one for well over a month now, sheesh.

Here’s the story: gal from Montana meets guy from Boston in California during vintage in Napa Valley. Fast forward, and these two gorgeous humans find themselves in Marlborough for Vintage 2026, both working at Mahi Wines.

Harrison and Michaela are the kind of couple you go ga-ga over. I mean, look at them. Stunning. And the worst part? They are every bit as lovely, kind and friendly as they are mind-blowingly good looking.

We took a little trip around Marlborough in the early days of autumn, starting at Mahi and working our way to Hammond Road. The light was perfect. They were perfect. I felt on top of the world.

Happy engagement guys! Hope to see you in Montana for the big day!

Expect more social posts from my gloriously busy wedding season in the coming weeks.

There’s just something divine about this entrance. The right light! The best vibe.

Adore! by @davidjames.studio

Two beautiful humans - one absolutely magical day spent with Georgie and Jack out on the epic Glover vineyard in Marlborough.

If you’re in the wine world around here, chances are you already know these two legends. If not, trust me… they’re seriously special humans. I’ve got a major fan boy crush.

Then vendors really made this…. Thank you to these lenders also!
