I don’t post much about what I do, but I’d like to open up and reflect on the journey. AWS. Microsoft. Google. People often ask how I got into certain rooms, it wasn’t the resume. It was community. It started with a small club in university where we got together to learn about upcoming technologies. As a software engineer, it was easy to get buried in the work and hard to make real friends. There’s a cliché that programmers are shy, but when you build a space where people feel safe to build and show their talents, everyone brings their best. Through the whole technical journey, I’ve also kept my creative side alive. I’ve focused on building real relationships professionally while protecting my creative spirit, and balancing the two has brought me some of the best experiences of my life. Growing on both fronts is what makes life fun and exciting, and it’s what I most want to share. The doors that felt unattainable almost always opened because of people. These days I’m focused on helping others in tech widen their circles, build their own communities, and live a life full of color and experiences they know they’re craving, even when it feels out of reach. Grateful for everyone who has been part of the journey so far. If this resonates, I’d love to hear your story and help you elevate your social life while balancing your career. #techcommunity #networking #softwareengineer #creativity #community by @davidjgamez

Never a dull day in Vegas from hanging out with Walter White and Jesse Pinkman to watching the future of boxing ringside with Mike Tyson and Bobby Khan, to ending the night with 80’s rock legends! #epic #lasvegas by @davidjgamez

Met @danmartell today and the conversation went exactly where you’d expect it to. We got into why most businesses are still treating AI like a tool instead of a system that learns with them. Every email you write, every task you complete, every decision you make is data. Feed it back into your AI layer and it starts mirroring how you actually work. Less friction. Less cost. Faster execution over time. Dan’s whole thing is buying back your time. AI that learns your patterns does exactly that, at scale. The future isn’t just using AI. It’s training it on you. HUGE thanks to @omareltakrori and @thevideodept.co for hosting an incredibly insightful and inspiring event to connect the community in Las Vegas! by @davidjgamez
Life has a funny way of taking us down roads we never planned to travel. There are setbacks, detours, and unexpected turns. But every mile good or otherwise, becomes part of the story. 🌅 by @davidjgamez
