Can’t believe it’s been over a year since we went on our babymoon to Europe…insane! Second leg of the trip was Portugal 🇵🇹

Porto will forever have my heart because it’s where Annette and I got to see and feel Kaslo kick from inside her belly for the first time at 21 weeks pregnant.

Layoff. Pregnancy. Career change. 2025 had other plans for me — and honestly, I’m grateful. 🙏

6 months with Baby K!

I can’t believe it’s already been half a year since we first got to meet you. You’re growing into the happiest & sweetest little boy. You’re goofy and cute all rolled into this tiny ball of adorableness!!

You seem to like traveling, based off of taking you to Japan when you were 5 months old. You’ve shown me and your mom that you’re up for any adventure we toss your way and I’m just so excited to see the many adventures we have together.

Japan 2023 vs Japan 2026

What a difference 3 years makes.

Annette and I were celebrating our first year anniversary when we visited Japan in the summer of 2023. Super hot weather, exploring, eating and soaking it all in.

Fast forward to 2026, we’re on a family trip with her sisters and mom, who are now aunties and grandma to our sweet little boy Kaslo. Annette and I are parents and our little guy went on his first ever trip and an international one to boot!

Two completely different trips, two unforgettable experiences. Memories that will last a lifetime.

Made it to the finals and took home silver yesterday at my first pickleball tournament of the year! 🥈 Couldn’t have done it without my partner @jon.poon and my OG @bnbpickleball Loco paddle!

Have you ever heard anyone say, “A lot can change in a year”? Well, I learned firsthand that it’s a FACT.

2025, didn’t go exactly how I had it planned out.

Getting laid off a week after my birthday definitely wasn’t in my goals list at the end of 2024. But, then finding out 2 weeks later, that Annette and I were going to be parents was such a blessing.

I so badly wanted to stay in the music industry. Tried for several months, interviewing for different roles and unfortunately, but fortunately, those didn’t pan out.

The change of plans allowed me to spend more quality time with Annette throughout her pregnancy and gave us precious time together before our little guy came later in the year.

Career-wise, after speaking with my sister-in-law, careful consideration & planning, I decided to make the jump over to the mortgage world and become a broker.

The career goal has always been to be in a position to help people. Whether that was in the music industry, retail, or any of the other industries I’ve worked, it all came down to that.

Last year, I mourned the change of careers that I didn’t plan for. But now that I’ve come to realize that when one thing ends, something new begins. I’m more excited than ever to see what this new adventure has in store for me and my family.
